Crystal-etching? - a short story
While digging through some stuff, I “rediscovered” one of my first watches, that was gifted to me. Quite literally, a Fossil in all its glory. 🦖🦕
Decided to give it a wipe down today, and as the sun reflected off the watch, I remembered something about this watch.

The crystal! When I was a young lad, I had two conclusions; one, I had the best watch on Earth, and two, the crystal was etched with a fossil of a “leaf”? It was for a bit my most prized possession that I stared at for hours, and was too afraid to lose, therefore hid for years. Well today was the day I rediscovered it, and remembered this story. 🥹
Knowing what I know now, It’s probably multiple scratches from the previous owner who gave it to me, but on a deeper thought this does look like it was etched and not scratched…

Hmmm will look into that, although don't think I will bother removing it haha. The story attached to it is too good 😂. Etched fossils in my Fossil 🙄.
