Oris Big Crown LE Waldenburgerbahn
Is there something I'm missing here? $2300 retail, for a LE caseback and a cervo volante strap? Other than that there is nothing different(that I can see) than the standard black dial 40mm BCPD at $1750.
Love the story and the homage to the railroad that helped the brand and the community Oris is in. I've been and is still a huge fan of the brand and all they've been doing, but this one(from a design aspect) is a head scratcher for me.

Yeah, I don’t see the value either, but higher priced limited additions seem to be the name of the game. That said, I’m guessing you can get the “regular” BCPD for less than that online.
