This looks close, if not exactly like a 1946 Hamilton "Alan" on a black leather strap. The text at the 12 position on the watch possibly could be "Hamilton Automatic" but that's just me.
The angle of the watch seems to make the hands shaped awkward. I've never seen the movie but if there is another wrist shot I'd love to see it.
At first I thought this was a 1939 Hamilton "Linwood", however the text was not similar to the one on in the picture above.
Just like @Icarium the 1930's Lanco Tank is very similar though the text is different.
This is the link to what the watch looks like.

I know it's out of stock but if you're lucky you might find on on eBay or another vintage watch shop.
Hope this helps! Cheers🍻
From what I’ve seen they make direct copies of watches from Rolex, Omega, etc., however the quality is horrible and is not something I would recommend. There is a huge difference between a homage and a direct copy and Pagani Design just directly copies everything.
For the price you pay for one of their fakes you could get a beautiful Seiko watch. This is all my opinion of course.
Happy holidays everyone!
First off, BEAUTIFUL watches!! I love the Omega Seamaster! I went to Europe very recently and I wore my Casio Duro and even a G-Shock GD100-1BCR, and it looked incredible so I agree with @TwiceTollingClock, it’s best to play this one safe.
I also bought a G-Shock at a G-Shock store in Paris, it was the G-Shock GBA900UU in khaki color and it’s gorgeous.
Have a wonderful time and safe travels mate!🍻
Maybe it's because I love history but the history of a watch is as important as the watch itself, if not more. If the history is very rich then it makes for a trustworthy brand and one that is worth investing in and learning more about. Take Cartier for example, they have such a fascinating history with being the first to make the modern wristwatch. Without the history of watches brands wouldn't be able to take inspiration and create new masterpieces. But this is IMO of course. Cheers🍻
I have a girlfriend who is interested in them but doesn't obsess with them like I do. It does mean a lot to see her interested. It seems the only time people take interest in my watch is when they ask if its a Rolex🥲
