Happy Friday one and all… just watched the trailer for this film and this watch peaked my interest. Thought it was a Bulova but not sure. Any ideas watch fam? Answers on a postcard please.
Could be 1930's Lanco Tank? Or a Patek Gondolo? But the lettering on the watch does not seem to support that 😕 Perhaps someone else will know for sure!
This looks close, if not exactly like a 1946 Hamilton "Alan" on a black leather strap. The text at the 12 position on the watch possibly could be "Hamilton Automatic" but that's just me.
The angle of the watch seems to make the hands shaped awkward. I've never seen the movie but if there is another wrist shot I'd love to see it.
At first I thought this was a 1939 Hamilton "Linwood", however the text was not similar to the one on in the picture above.
Just like @Icarium the 1930's Lanco Tank is very similar though the text is different.

Jack Mason did a watch for The Highwaymen: https://jackmasonbrand.com/blogs/news/designed-for-netflix?_pos=2&_sid=3a584f8ee&_ss=r, but that is a very different watch.

I know it's out of stock but if you're lucky you might find on on eBay or another vintage watch shop.
Hope this helps! Cheers🍻
