What are your thoughts on Tommy Hilfiger watches?

How is their quality? What are their pros and cons? How is the sizing, originality, pricing, etc.?

The first watch I bought myself was at a flea market, it was a knock off Tommy Hilfiger with some flip up lid thing, was quite ridiculous but I was like 7 so

As long as you don't buy it at the retail price, they seem good to start with.

I never had a Tommy Hilfiger watch, but had fashion brands like Emporio Armani and got my wife MK watches before. Generally speaking after getting watches from dedicated watch brands versus fashion brands I would never go back to fashion. Was there a particular style you are looking for?

I agree with you, most fashion watches are more style over substance. I'm sure there are exceptions but I'll stick to what I know😂

Pro: They tell time

Con: Tommy Hilfiger

If I had to guess, I'd say they're probably inexpensive quartz movements placed in an average case with the price jacked up because of the fashion brand name. If you really like Hilfiger though, go for it.

This is private label stuff. It's not like there is a TH watch factory somewhere. It's licensed merchandise made (probably largely designed) by a third party.

Mall/fashion watches get a bad rap merely because there are usually better options for the price. But usually they are as reliable and durable as anything else at a slightly lower price level.

I'll just add the factoid that the early seasons of The Walking Dead had lead Rick Grimes wearing some braceleted chronograph ... oh wait, that was a Kenneth Cole. Never mind.

Well anyway, the problem with not really knowing the manufacturer is that parts are basically not available unless you crack that code and the original maker offers them.

I thought I was fancy when I was buying Tommy, MK, Kenneth Cole and Guess watches. I still have them but don't wear them. My preferences have simply changed.
