My Christmas wish? An authentic Spaghetti Scametti. However, it’s not something I could pull off in my current state. I wouldn’t dare. No, not until I can exude excellence and sophistication. Otherwise I’d just be a big phony. The aristocrats I strive to mingle and brush elbows with would see right through my ruse. Thankfully the Internet Hitorian’s series has been helping me prepare for the upper echelon of society.

Since joining the community here at Watch Crunch have developed an odd urge to sum up my decades long watch affectation, perhaps it is all the talk about grails and exit watches which was never a thing when I started in the hobby. Do not have the dollars for a perpetual from one of the high horology suspects, was keen to source a Baume&Mercier Riviera perpetual moonphase but the watch is already sold out, may look at a GO perpetual in steel. I would call it a present to myself. It might not yet be a last purchase but at least in that direction.

It's the cheapest watch I can find with this pleasing (imo) layout that combines Day, Date, & Month in an elegant way. I should've bought this off eBay in mint condition for $60, but that got sold.

The other offering is a used one for $55 off OfferUp.

Also annoyingly enough is the fact they have one in a 32mm case which looks almost like this, but is waay too small.

The only thing similar to this I've seen is a Maen Brooklyn 36 Triple Calendar... for $780!

I am buying my own Xmas present. Steeldive Emperor Tuna. 53mm of steel, 17.5 MM thick. This is my reward for a month of staring at feking MICKEY MOUSE! I swear I liked that thing when I bought it........ I did. Getting it on the engineers bracelet though, not this rubber thing.
