Do you like this mbandf watch?

Nope.

I have the same opinion with all MB&F "time machines"

Toys for the wealthy and uninformed.

But I like watches

That’s like being born with your organs on the outside.

·

I do like MB&F and their ‘horological machines’, including the one in your pic 👍🏻

But yeah, they are basically toys for the wealthy…the closest I’ve gotten is an MB&F watch stand 😂

It’s interesting but not something that I would want to own, even if I had the money.

·

It's too expensive, but so is the majority of watches.

It's basically art: I can't have it, but I can appreciate it. In this regard, it does better than many a mainstream brand.

·

I think it's incredible tech-art. 🤩🙌

Nevertheless I wouldn't want to have one.

I don't even want to imagine how expensive a service would be. 💥🤯

·

I'd like to be in the position to be able to own one 😉

Not my taste, but can appreciate the workmanship.

·

I don't like! 🚫

·

Beautiful. I can’t afford it, but I would wear it.

·

Absolutely love it. Wouldn’t want to own it though, even if I had a spare $70k burning a hole in my pocket.

·

Love MB&F ,Gruebel Forsey and similar independents just so different

·

There's something not quite right with the watch in that pic. The strap doesn't look right.

·

I generally like the brand but on this one the dials are too plain

·

RGM does a better version of it:

So if I had the money to burn, RGM would be my choice. 😎

·

I respect MB&F, but I wouldn't wear one. The engineering and watchmaking is amazing, but I find that the final result looks weird with elements scattered everywhere.

Well, it's not like I'm their target demographic anyway...

·

I really like this watch, although a static picture doesn't do it justice. Can't justify the cost, waaaaaaaay out of my price range.

·

love it.

·

I wonder how on earth they managed to get it to work. This escapemet doesn’t look like it’s connected to anything. Such a lovely blue

I like all kinds of odd pieces. I'm not sure about this one though. Is that balance wheel and spring under glass? I can't tell from the picture. I think that I will pass on this one. I'm not sure what it costs but reading the comments it's too much. They better quit now while they can. Jacob has this market locked up and Jacob watches look like they are worth the money in a sense. This looks like a AliExpress special being sold by Wish.

·

It's just ridiculous. The horological equivalent of modern art. But my opinion only matters to me. If James Bond wore it in some parallel universe, it would go down a storm.

·

I think its cool

·

$72,500. ???? What? Seventy-two thousand five hundred dollars. What?

I had to look it up didn't I? There is one listed on ebay for $72 thousand frickin 500 dollars. No way! The only people buying these must be related to Uncle Jed. Got rich by shootin at some food. I am now speechless 😶

·

It's interesting horologically, but I don't love the look, and having movement components in front of a dial element is weird and unattractive to me. If I'm spending money like that, I'd try to score some watch students' watches or something. At least they'd be piece unique...

·

The minute hand is too short

·

Wicked cool watch, definite 👍🏻

I think it's a less-tasteful execution of the type of concept the, for example, Lange Pour le Merite does magnitudes better and sexier:

That said, too poor for either, so...

·

I like it. But something’s missing 😕

·

It's neat to look at and I'm glad there's manufacturers out there pushing the limits, but it's not for me at any price
