Is it too big?

I asked this about a month ago in a post but it's hard to get a clear answer. So I am hoping this simple poll does the trick.

I myself think I just about pull it off and it's a fantastic watch. But hey, if I am wrong maybe I should consider selling it on.

Do you like it? How doesn’t it feel on your wrist?

·

If you need to ask twice then it probably is too big.

·

Don't worry about what others think. If you feel it fits right, that's all that matters.

·

What’s the lug to lug and what’s your wrist size?

52mm is lug to lug and 165mm is my wrist. My wrist is pretty flat though. What do you think?

That's fair enough

Looks like a big watch and wears like it too. I don't feel it's out of place though

I have a 7 inches wrist and don’t go over 50mm lug tu lug, so 52mm for your 6.5 wrist I find it a little to big. But if you like it, go for it!

·

Not at all, it's a beautiful watch.....I have watches from 38 to 46, I dont care.

·

You are fine. As you said, it's upper limit for you but it wears correctly. And even if it didn't, you obviously like the watch so who cares what a bunch of strangers on the Internet think. 💪 Or worse let them bully you into selling a watch you really like.

Measurements don't tell the whole story. Which is why I couldn't get a good fit on some "smaller" watches but a bigger one wears fine. It's almost as if lug to lug measures aren't solely responsible for a good fit...weird.

Looks great and it’s a Hanhart, keeper

My wrist is flat and tends to fluctuate between 6.25” and 6.5” depending on weight and weather. For my personal tastes, 52mm L2L would be too much for me to pull off. I try to keep 49mm L2L as the absolute top of what I’m comfortable with. 45-48mm being ideal for me. Take that information and use it how you wish, but ultimately watches wear differently for everyone and only you can make that call.

Look in the mirror and you get more objective view.

FWIW close up shot by phone camera makes watches look larger.

·

It looks fine from the pic. You should do a shot down the arm. If the straps go vertically down that is fine in my book, if they bow in then maybe too big.

·

Prominent, but not big. I think it works on you.

Thank you for that. I'll tell myself 50, 52 - 2mm difference it's that big 😆

Thank you 🙏

It's too big. The lugs overhang from your wrist and we can't see the strap. I also have a 165mm wrist and I don't go over 48mm, preferably 44-46mm.

·

For my preference it may fit a little too big (I don’t like space between the lugs and the skin), but it’s hard to tell from the picture. Also, none of the opinions here should stop you from enjoying this watch. I won’t judge anyone for wearing a watch that may look a little big on their wrist. As long as it feels comfortable and isn’t annoying you, you’re good.

·

If you enjoy wearing it, that’s all the answer you need.

You might be able to pull off the case width but that L2L is overhanging both sides.

And if you have to ask...Fake? Too small? Too big? The answer is always "yes."

·

Doesn't look too big. But do you like watches that have dials with numbers that are slightly missing their characters 10-2-4-8? That's why I haven't bought the Hamilton Khaki King. When this came out there was so much hype. I couldn't find myself enjoying and looking at the missing 11 and 1. I wanted to like it but I just couldn't.

Do YOU man 🍻👊🏽

If you like it, roll with it. 👍🏼👍🏼

I agree with you

I always answer yes to this question without even looking at any images. I may have been wrong once or twice.
