Weekday, weekend, and event.
- Weekday (or daily) just a simple but dressy black dial GADA. Field watch for me since it's my fav design language.
- Weekend (or sports) a dive/gmt more colorful option. Think going fishing with dad, bbq, calling family 7 hours behind and movie night.
- Event (or dress) for any Christmas, important meeting, anniversary, etc. A watch to remember the important events in life. I cheat and through a gshock too, just cause i need something i would not mind losing, instead of just not using a watch at all.
I know it's not the same in any way, but as a fan of the speedmaster, i have looked into Serica's design language and found it to have a hint of the same vibe. Maybe it's the wired lugs, broad arrow and 12h marker that throws me as an omega, but looking at it it's still it's very much its own thing. Now, for me at least, Serica makes the watches I wished Omega did, with still a strong identity but cheaper lol. My new buy will be a 5303 which in my head is what if a Speedmaster was a dive watch. Again, very personal opinion, after looking at both in the metal, i prefer Serica to Omega. 1k to 2k range if you're interested.
