Weekend watch?

Help me choose my weekend watch! I'm looking for a blue diver from a microbrand with heart. Something that feels like going out fishing with dad, board game weekend, family bbq, summer in the beach and winter mountain hiking. Around $500. These are the two options I've gotten the closest too, but feel free to write any other ideas.

Also awesome choice. I liked a little better the retrospect in terms of proportions but definitely considering it too

Honestly I’m not much help to you here as I go seiko diver of some discription at this price point and you are looking for same capability with a more unique feel look and story. So saying that I just can’t sit on the fence and I’d go scurfa. I like the story of the owner acually being a pro diver and using his experance to put what he wanted into a watch and I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck choosing I’m sure the good folks here will come up with many other great watches that fit your bill 😊

That’s an interesting watch I’ve not seen before. I’be had a few sinn watches with this style black bezel so it draws my eye to it close enough to see while I can see sinn SDR it’s very different too 👍

You completely got the point. Definitely would have gone for a Seiko if my collection was not all focused on microbrands 🤣. Those save the ocean indigo dials oh lord yes.

Voted scurfa as I have one and think for the money it's a great watch

Scurfa gets my vote. Its a great looking watch and British to boot!

Also the bloke behind it is an actual diver....

I’ve got a Scurfa and Nodus. They are both excellent. I don’t think you could go wrong either way.

I had the Retrospect, but ended up parting ways with it. I’d recommend swapping the bracelet if you get it. The clasp had sharp edges that dug into my wrist.
