New Serica Field Watch 6190

Just received my Serica field watch ref 6190 and I have to say… I love it. I’ve been wanting a field watch for quite sometime now and initially considered the usual players; Hamilton, Marathon, Seiko, etc …..but nothing spoke to me. Until I found the microbrand Serica. The design language in all their watches (field, travel, diver) is very unique and I dig it!

The 6190 is a perfect 38mm wide case for my 6.5in wrist. The thicker brushed bezel has Nautilus vibes which I quite like. The different polished and brushed surfaces gives the watch texture and elegance. When ordering, you have the option of three dials and I went with the California style layout, which adds another level of uniqueness to this field watch.

It comes with a cool vintage Bonklip style bracelet. I also ordered the optional “endlinks” which are small pieces that cover the gap between the case and strap adding another level of design. I like it with my ripstop strap.

All in all, I’m truly enjoying this piece and can see it staying in my collection for a long time.

Damnnnn man the end links with the canvas straps look fireeeee. What straps are those? Might have to try the enlinks and see if they fit my 4512

I’d contact their customer support and ask which end link versions fit your 4512

Striking looks, solid build quality

The finishing 💯

Amazing watch and it pairs great with the strap and knife! What is that knife? Are the scales after market? They look like OG scales?

·

That’s a stunner,those end links are very clever.👊🏻

·

Oh this is niiiice. I'm looking at adding a Serica myself and this might be the straw that broke the camels back

It’s a Benchmade knife with custom scales. I forgot the name, it’s been awhile. I’ll get back to you 😬

I’d go for it. Great value.

I just picked up the 4512. I love it!

Watch looks incredible! I am about to order a 6190 Denali and I cannot wait. Question: does the bonklip bracket work with the end links?? If so, could you snap a photo of it?

Great post! I've got the Denali dial and absolutely love it. I also picked up the end links and they look awesome paired with an Artem sailcloth too. Wear that amazing piece in good health!

I'm about to order the Denali and there's definitely a lack of Denali representation out there haha. I'd love to see some pics on wrist!

Not a great photo but this is all I have at the moment. I will try to add a couple with the end links later on.

The bonklip looks sick with the end links! I will be trying that tonight.

Congratulations on your purchase 😍.

I have the 4512 since last summer and it has easily been my most worn watch ever since. It is such a great piece beautifully blending utilitarian sophistication and versatility.

I really dig Serica's design language and cannot wait to see what they have up their sleeves for the future.

I heard the new 6190 end link also work on the 4512. Cannot wait to buy and try them. Have you thought about adding their new rubber straps?

Wear it in good health 🙏

Actually it’s a Benchmade griptilian. It has the same Sypderco cutout though 😬yes those are custom scales from Applied Weapons Tech.

Ahh, the Grippy was my first thought, but the strap is obscuring that Griptilan hump, so I wasn't sure. Great blade though and a stunner with those sweet scales! 🔥

Thank you sir!🤙🏽

If I had the money, I would pick one up to compare it to my 4512. I have mixed feelings about the 6190. The case is more elegant but the dial and handset feel less refined than its predecessor. Feel a bit incongruous(?). Maybe if I see one on the secondary market for a good deal I’d pick one up to compare the two.
