35mm with 20mm strap dress watch

Hey everyone! I really like the Calatrava 570's proportions, and I'm looking for something preferably around $1000 for a same feeling dress watch. Anyone know of any? There's Baltic's MR01 which is 36mm and 20mm, but they lose the elegance (feel they should have trimmed down the lugs), so I'm still looking haha. Microbrands preferably.

Most that I know are 18mm or 19mm lugs. 🤔 GS might have something?

maybe a king seiko?

Should look in the vintage market for something like that. All the offerings in that size now they put in the ladies section for some stupid reason.

I too adore the classic Calatrava 35/20 and Oyster 34/19 and 36/20 ratios. It's so odd that so few do that wide stance.

Smiths do 36/20 if you can get one. Lorier's Falcon and Astra as well.

If you are willing to compromise a bit, could look at the Longines Flagship.

They have a 36mm with 18mm lugs and a 38.5mm with 20mm lugs.

If you were willing to go vintage Universal Geneve/Polerouter. But since Breitling acquired the brand, prices have gone up. Also, with any vintage piece, be prepared to have it serviced. Did you take a look at Oris or Nomos?

Farer has a 36mm 3 hander series with 20mm lugs and a very refined 41mm L2L for $1000 that fits your proportions but I wouldn’t call them dressy.

Kuoe is an interesting and very affordable dark horse candidate at 35mm and 18mm lugs. I wish they used more top shelf movements though.

Vaer, 36mm and 20mm lugs. They have some sportier dials that could be dressed up or a small seconds gold and black no date.
