The Baltic "Prismic" - Hate the name...

Here it is, Baltic latest release, the Prismic, €990 with a Manual ETA Peseux 7001 movement. Definitely an interesting watch with a great movement, but I got to admit I think my favourite part of this watch is the bracelet, what a beauty, need to see reviews on it though it might be a hair puller!

What are your thoughts?

That bracelet looks incredible. Fixes everything I hate about mesh straps (cheap look and straight end)

They look really pretty but I don't like those indices

Definitely, that mesh gives me vintage mesh bracelet, it was much more common to have curved end and they looked good, they aced that.

I agree, those indeces are very fashion watch brand like. Thanks for sharing the video will check it out!

I think it looks fantastic. It’s not for me, as the only small seconds watch I want is the Calatrava (future goal). For the price I think it’s pretty solid and the colors are on trend.

·

I like everything Aside from the hour markers. Maybe circular applied indices would have worked better?

·

Nice apart from the colours - you'd have thought they'd do black and white as well as these, these colours just limit the potential market 🤯

hahahah that would be a different price point! They did good on colors!

Seems like to market is loving these new colors, it's a trend for the moment so I think they are doing good by riding the wave

Agree, just seems a bit short sighted not to offer more conservative colours in addition to these and appeal to a wider audience 🤔

·

Love the name, love the look, love that bracelet, Purple or Champagne for me. And a display manual movement? TAKE MY MONEY NOW!

I think they will just not on the release, they need to make noise and make everyone talk, so they start with the funky colors and eventually, if the model sells well, they’ll introduce the more conservative colors

I guess you’ll let us know how the watch is!

That makes sense, get the hype going first then do the "boring" colours. Good observation, cheers mate 👍

Exactly

That dial color is amazing

·

Normally I like Baltic, but the indices look like the cheap gold things that you usually see on Frankened watches…

Watch is good. If I were colorblind, I'd love it

Do we really need another Baltic?

Why not?

Good looking watch, but 36mm is small.

I don’t know who they went so small

I think it fits perfectly in the “future vintage” style that’s been popular as a general trend in fashion, music, video, etc. Baltic designs are spot on in terms of vibe.

It is not for me, but can see a lot of women going for it. Hermetique is still my favorite release from the brand.

That’s true a lot of women could go for this one

The worst part of the watch

·

Looks nice! I've seen that style of indices on some Omega ladies watches.

·

I am waiting until they release it as something you can buy seperately so I can get one for my MR01

·

The Milanese 😮‍💨

Yes, maybe we’re missing the point and Baltic wants to reach the women audience as well

The bracelet? Yes for sure, if it’s the same curve..

A beauty

·

Agree the bracelet looks so good. I also kind of dig the different textures and such happening on the dial. If I didn't have the MR01 already, I might be tempted.
