Unfortunately I neither have Seiko nor Casio in my small collection. Not yet. However, with the multitude of possibilities with either brand, I do find it hard to decide where to start.

The Cherry on top I went to the Seiko Museum:

Bought a King Seiko:

The KS was inspired by a Shrine in Japan

And... went on the hunt to visit the shrine.

Yes I still have a wife after dragging her to the Seiko Museum, Shop then Shrine.

I don't own any seiko's but my entire collection consists mostly of Casio. I now own couple of Citizens and an Orient also. So yes Japanese watches are big with me.

I understand with the number of choices and possibilities you have with Seiko and Casio is not easy to select which one is the one, especially if you want to keep your collection controlled under a specific number of watches. I am still a student but I currently have a f91w, Gw 9500 mudman, edifice era300rb red bull, gwb 5600 HR 1 and another watch that I don't remember but is a sneaker blue and is a analog digital. As you can see I really love Casio and gshock, but it's really sad to see young people not wanting to wear a watch as it's a hassle or they have their phone

I'm more of a Citizen fan but most of the watches I like are above my budget. I do have a Casio Oceanus and lately have developed an interest in Seiko BF/tuna watches.

The kinetic gmt tuna is mine the tuna chronograph and digi tuna are not mine yet.

Edit : the Seiko solar tuna chronograph is now mine as well, I'm not even a fan of chronographs but I really like that case shape. Damn you Seiko 😂

Man, I'm late for this party! Didn't see this on my feed... Anyway, I'm not necessarily a "true Seiko lover" as they have other designs that I don't like. But, I do love the Seiko watches I have.
