I had an appointment with my cardiologist for a check up in the morning! Since the moment I entered his office, my eyes fell on his Rolex! After finishing quickly the insignificant and boring cardiology tests and while I was about to leave I turned my head towards him and said “btw I really like your datejust”. He was surprised for a little moment there because someone noticed the watch. It was a Datejust Turn-O-Graph.
While I was walking towards the door he said “I have also another one”. Really? I replied? “A Batman maybe?”. “Nope! The hulk” he replied. “I don’t wear it at work though. It is too heavy”. “ Well that’s why they call it the hulk”. We both laughed, we greeted each other and I left!
The Turn-O-Graph is an exquisite timepiece 👌

Interesting watch. I like learning about lesser known Rolex models
Love that model I love the colors with the touches of red and the bezel. Super cool watch that I’d definitely consider buying. Cool you guys had s little watch moment always cool when those happen out and about
Datejust Turn-O-Graph? That's a new one to me! Thanks for the info! 🍻

I love it too! I was surprised when I first saw it on his wrist. It is not as popular as it should be so I was excited to see it in front of me! Yes that was a very cool chat. From a patient and doctor we instantly became watch buddies for a while.

It looks amazing but not many people know or talk about it! I was also surprised to see it today!
Here is a nice article I found about the watch! It’s a good read for those who don’t know the model👌

I might need to see the cardiologist after last night’s NFC championship game
My brother has a Datejust Thunderbird Turnograph from 1999

I love it! Beautiful blue dial 👌

It really is a beaut! I think it’s that same color they call the Azurro on the Datejust 41 with the Romans
One of my favorite Datejusts.
They're a great option, and the pricing is really reasonable for a Rolex. I think of the Turnograph as a real "collector's Rolex" type of watch.
That was simple but great story.
I have only ever seen one of these in the wild. One of my old clients had one. Offered to sell it to me for still more than what I could afford, unfortunately, but they’re great.

Exactly! They are really beautiful watches and their price is quite normal still! It is like even watch enthusiasts don’t know about it.

Thank you Ahmad!

You can still find them on Ebay and Chrono24 at reasonable prices, indeed it is a great watch 👌
Not that Hulk 🤣
Funnily enough my cardiologist also wears a Rolex!
ALL the docs I work with want subs.
I’m trying to convince them to get anything else but they aren’t really into watches and more into looking like a stereotype 🤷♂️🙄
Tomorrow I will wear my Turn-O-Graph! 🤷🏽♂️🤫

I bet your cardiologist was really impressed with your knowledge, Kostas. Good for you 👍🏻
WOW that’s insane!! 😵💫🔥😎
Thanks for the info, never seen one!
