My wife tolerates my watch hobby, just this morning she wanted to e transfer a generous amount to support a next watch purchase. She is not a watch enthusiast owns a 40 year old quartz Hermes that we bought together before deciding to marry, a few Cartiers that I gifted to her over the years, a sad little quartz Omega and a gold Rolex inherited from her mom. Additionally she wears a number of my modern Tudors fitted with OEM fabric straps. She sometimes mentions that as much as I love my watches, the complete absence of any from Rolex also suggests little possible return in the future after my adios, haha. I may accept her donation this time and visit a trusted grey market seller to source a Rolex watch that can retain some value.
