32 days straight on the wrist, and I'm in love

Wearing a watch for more than a month straight might not be a big deal for a lot of watch nuts out there but its something that has never happened to me until I wore the BB Pro! And its especially weird because, dive watches usually dominate my wrist time. Turns out comfort plays a big role because this is seriously in my top 3 most comfortable watches I've owned (Zodiac Superseawolf GMT Sherbet and 42mm Polar Explorer II finish off the top 3). Of course, I happen to love how it looks as well.

Is wearing one watch for a month a big feat for any of you as well, and how much of a factor is comfort when wearing/choosing a watch?

Turns out wearing one watch for a month is less common and more difficult than you might think…

looool that was a fun thread to read! Yeah turns out wearing one watch when we have others sitting close by is pretty hard! ngl I'm not sure that I would be able to actively choose to do a challenge and wear a watch for a month. the 32 days with the BB Pro just happened, if i had to force myself it would feel so suffocating lol! I guess we need to see what happens when the Seiko SSK GMT comes out😀

my longest  wrist time watch is my Casio duro tho I have some expensive watches but yeah always back from where I came from lol

·

Beautiful watch! I am a sucker for GMTs.

·

it looks really nice but I really wish I could try it on first, I’m still a bit wary of the stated thickness

last year Seiko beat out the rest in total wrist time! Its going to be an interesting battle against the SSK GMT. Also I really need to experience the casio duro, ive been wanting to get one for a while!

Thanks man! I'm the same, the moment i see that 4th hand, it jumps up the rankings for sure lol

·

Yeah the hybrid leather strap does look good, the texture/pattern on the top is especially good. I'd love to try it out one day!

For me the thickness hasnt been an issue at all pretty much from the moment I got it, but yeah definitely try it out first bc thats the only way to know for sure. I have a feeling it'll surprise you!

Things have devolved somewhat in the 1WC.  I feel like participants are going progressively crazier.

@Ichibunz bought 3 watches in 36 hours and I'm wondering if I should purge my entire collection and become a one watch ascetic.

Its the darkest timeline.

Very nice looking watch.  I had a Zodiac years ago and loved it.

I’ve started hearing voices in my head, and I can now smell colors.

Yeah, I see most reviewers say that the thickness is alright, but my wrist is quite tiny (6 inches) so it may be different

·

kinda  a weird one to be honest , I only wear my fancy shit like once a week sometimes less so I am always in honeymoon lol

·

Haven’t been able to try one on yet, but looks stellar. Congrats.

I've only worn a watch fora month one time and it was the EXPII - and you're right, it was sooo comfortable and that made it easy

Where did you get the black and orange strap?

Just adding to this thread, I've been wearing an Apple Watch for the better part of 3 years until I discovered Watchcrunch recently, now the Apple Watch is getting what's probably going to be a long vacation 😅

Have rediscovered the crazy watch guy in me!

That one came from Diaboliq Straps....Josip is a master and great to do business with

·

Justify it by virtue of the extra 100M of water resistance.

As the owner of a BB GMT,

I'm curious to know how you feel about the ratio of the dial width to thickness.  I think the GMT is proportionally OK, but I'm not sure that I'd feel the same about the Pro.

I've been seeing these and I really haven't been a huge Tudor fan. I want one in my collection, but the jury is out on which one. I'm super picky about bracelets (I'm more of a bracelet guy than an strap guy). This intrigues me but I resist the temptation since every YouTuber is singing it's praises. I think it's  cool, and I like the reference to the Rolex version.

Wearing a watch for a month, if I'm feeling it, I'll do it, but the problem is, when you start to truly collect the watches you like, it becomes a problem choosing or maybe it's me...

That's a really nice looking watch.

As my collection has grown, it has become harder and harder to wear any single watch for an extended period. When I get a new watch I tend to wear it exclusively for a week or two, but then revert to it just becoming another watch in the rotation.

Comfort is certainly a factor in selecting which watch I wear, but I don't really have any watches that I find so uncomfortable that I can't wear them for at least a couple of days, even though I tend to change daily.

·

It looks great on your wrist! I’m still waiting for one with the bracelet.  As to wearing one watch for a month straight- the Pelagos LHD comes the closest in recent times, although back in early 2020 I wore my Sinn 856 UTC for about 6 months straight 😂.   The more I have, the more I appreciate the variety.

Yeah that seems to be the case with most owners as well but in the end nothing can beat trying it out on your own wrist! Hope you can do so soon!

ooooo it looks so good on that tan nato! awesome combos and yeah its such a comfy watch it was so close to being a keeper for me

I used to own the 42mm polar explorer II and I loved it! However for me the 39mm size of the BB Pro is pretty much perfect so even if I still had the explorer II each would have had its place in my collection. The Explorer II being 42mm and a full on modern watch in practice is quite different compared to the smaller, vintagey yet not too vintagey style of the BB Pro. Also the bezel font makes a pretty big difference in how it feels on the wrist. So I say if you want the BB Pro, try it on and get it!

·
TimeJunkie

I've been eying the BB Pro for a long time.  Like you, divers sit on my wrist most days. Oddly,  my Explorer II is the most comfortable watch I own . Snowflake gets an Honorable Mention.  Weirdly the Explorer II feels best. So why do I wear divers all the time? Dunno The BB Pro just looks beautiful . Now I'm dying to get one on wrist for feel

Yeah definitely try it on, its such an awesome watch and i still cant get over how comfortable it is! But yeah divers just have their own awesome vibe and i use it to time things quite often which is a plus for divers.

Anybody know if the Fostner Black Bay Bracelets fits this too?
