I Love You, But I Have To Sell You....

The Tudor Black Bay 58 line is an incredible line of wonderful watches that just seems to hit the spot despite not being a wild design. In fact their simple swiss solidity played a big role when deciding to buy the BB58 Blue and the BB58 925.

After getting each watch I enjoyed the honey phase immensely and the tiny red flags were pushed aside because there were ways around it. I'm between links on the bracelet? It's ok I like it on straps and natos anyway! Tudor's supposedly "tarnish proof" silver started to tarnish? I'm sure its going to look wild when it fully tarnishes soon!

Despite these and other little issues I enjoyed wearing them occasionally and seeing them in my watch box. But I had to face reality, and really think about whether or not they were worth keeping given how much money was locked away in them. So despite my love for these BB58s, the time has come to say goodbye. Do you own a watch that you know doesn't click with you, but you continue to love anyway?

Sad to say, but I'm eventually also going to sell my BB58 Gilt due to the bracelet.  It's literally the only one of my watches where the bracelet is constantly trying to hurt me.  It has a propensity for pulling hair (WHY!!?  I can't seem to figure out what is different between it and my other watches' bracelets that it does this!).  A seemingly small issue but it's one of the small irritations that through the course of a day / week / month adds up to be a major annoyance.  And again, easily solved using different straps - but in the back of my mind, it's a nagging thing that I want to be able to wear this on bracelet too without issues...
