What were your Top Two Watches in May

I don't have the largest watch collection (my wife may disagree) but it's large enough that my favorites change month by month. Last month these two watches were late adds to the collection but quickly got the majority of wrist time: The Vanbanner VBAO and this used Seiko SNXS81. In addition, these were perhaps the two cheaper watches I've purchased in a while; the Vanbanner was about $350 CAD with the discount code and the Seiko was a $15 CAD eBay purchase, proving that for me it does not need to be expensive to be my favorite. I am going to have to operate on the Seiko as it's running but not great (may just swap out the 7S26 with a NH36) but the Miyota in the Vanbanner is performing better than my watches with Swiss Movements.

Curious what others favorites were during the Month of May?

For May

After two years into the pandemic I finally get to go out and use my presage.

Office - Grand Seiko SBGA429

Weekend - Cartier Roadster XL Chronograph

This month, I've found that the normally well defined work and family time of my life has been bleeding into each other.  I've drifted towards pieces that I don't feel weird walking into a meeting with but also are tough enough to stand up to kids soccer.

I really need to consider adding a Presage every time I see one I go 'wow'. However, I kind of want that Casio just because it says 'Timber Cruiser' on the dial.

Don't see a lot of posts on the Cartier Roadster it has a pretty unique case

I like the chrono/Sinn look I got it from Japan (TIC-100 model number). Definitely Presage have beautiful dials. You can also get the more affordable cousin Orient Bambino that's also a nice dress watch.

Thank you sir! she is pretty 😁

The two watches that I wore the most in May were my Omega Broad Arrow Speedmaster (with a new Artem sailcloth strap) and my Norqain Adventure Sport Chrono.

Definitely these two, but that Speedmaster will not get worn much in the summer because I don’t want to wreck the leather strap.

Thanks I got that strap from Moose Strap Co which I believe is another Canadian company. It looks really good on a Milanese but makes it a bit to dressy for my daily.

Love the watch

Love it on the Milanese!

My Speedy (always) and my slightly modded and gouged 5KX (for pool fun and the start of Summer yard work and landscaping for backyard BBQs).

My Oris BCPD got the most use; mainly because of the Hirsch Performance strap I put on it. The strap gave it a whole different feel, more sporty, more suited for summer.
Second to it was my Clemence Photic, the latest addition to my collection. Impossible to photograph. Not imperfect, yet very good for a microbrand's first watch at the price.

Okay I've got to ask is that your picture because I think I saw that one on Instagram and it's what made me try a Milanese lol

I've been slowly coming round to the 5KX. At first like many I turned up my nose as it didn't have the SKX Diver Credentials but every time I see one I have to admit it is one sharp looking watch and well I'm not a diver :)

I just watched a review on the Clemence and it is one nice classy looking vintage inspired diver. I'm pretty sure that is my favorite Oris Dial color.

For me it was a GS dominated month, mostly because my SBGA407 is my usual office watch, and because the SLGH009 was added this month and I’m totally obsessed with it.
