Casio Calculator on Leather?

Been thinking of trying my hand at some leatherwork and watch straps seem like the logical entry point. However, before doing a full project I did a quick hack to a old cheap Apple Watch strap to make it sort of fit my unused calculator watch (unused bc I hate the strap it comes on). Thoughts? Worthy of moving past beta?

If ya like it ROCK it! For me I'd pass just my humble opinion. Stay Thirsty My Man 🍻👊🏽

Erm…there is no other watch in your collection you can apply your leatherworking skills to? There must be a better candidate than the Casio calc watch 😬

i just cut down the lug area to fit and use color permanent marker to fix the cut. even did that to my 5600

I like to be different so doing a strap for a normal watch just didn't seem all that exciting lol

Sounds pretty much what like what I did with this Apple Strap for Beta try to see if I liked it.

Well 1 out of 5 for moving forward lol. Not a resounding positive market analysis so far.

I may do it anyway otherwise I may as well just chuck this calculator watch in the bin as it will never get wrist time without me doing something crazy to it.
