So, we all notice certain fashion trends. For example here in Florida there are lots of people wearing socks with sandals. But anyway, what watches do you see most people wearing? Do you see more Seikos? G-Shocks or some other brand? Me, I see a lot of Smart Watches. Lots of them.

Florida Man
๐ and GShock โ๏ธs mostly. But in the last month I spotted a Richard Mille, Rolex Sub, and Tudor BB58... I always try not to stare too hard but you know us watch guys would love to chat and share stories LOL
One thing that i notice i often seen many air hostess wearing a casio f series.
I mostly see Apple Watches, and the occasional old man wearing a gold tone Timex with an expandable bracelet that he bought in the 70s.
Smartwatches, fashionwatches, maked wrists.
In costal Southwest Florida, where thereโs a lot of old money, I see Rolex often enough. Some of them may be knockoffs. I also see many fashion watches. What I see most is obviously Apple watches.
Itโs a pleasant surprise to see something else. I noticed a friend at menโs group wearing a Seiko diver last week. He said his dad wore one in โNam. Because of that, itโs all my friend has worn himself.
I am in France and there is an epidemic of Daniel Welington and Cluse. A lot of G-shock/Casio and sometimes a tissot prx. And of course many Smart watches.
Smart watches or no watches at all. I'm usually one of the few people anywhere who has a mechanical watch on. In nicer neighborhoods or areas I MIGHT spot a Rolex or a Speedy but even that is rare. I'm somewhat introverted, but if I saw a non-corporate conglomerate brand on someone's wrist (any of the cool independents) I'd offer friendship immediately haha.
Iโll typically do a double glance if I notice a nato strap from a distance. When I see one Iโll want to look to see what the person paired it with which is typically something of the sport variety, diver, field, mechanical, etc. most of the time nato owners are watch enthusiasts so itโs a great way to strike up a conversation about watches too.
Anything with a stainless bracelet / anything not a Smartwatch. This actually happened to me yesterday at the grocery store checkout. I actually got a little geeked out to see someone wearing a Citizen diver on a steel bracelet (no offense super Citizen fans / I own one too)
Other than smart watches, I see a decent amount of G-Shocks and the occasional Casio digital. A smattering of Citizens and Timex here and there. Every once in a while I'll spot something more unique like an Omega SMP. That's a fairly rare occurrence in my neck of the woods though.
These days, it's mostly smartwatches. I used to see a lot more Daniel Wellingtons, but there are fewer now so it seems like that ship has sailed. Depending on the event or the occasion, I'll see a fair number of Rolexes (a lot of Subs and Datejusts) and Omegas (Speedys or Seamasters), and the occasional Tudor Black Bay. But not a lot of variety beyond that.
Florida man here and I donโt wear my socks with sandals lol. But, these are the brands I see in the wild. Rolex, Cartier, and Breitling.
Montreal Canada here, and I definitely see a LOT of smartwatches. I work at a college and they all have an Apple watch it seems. As for so-called real watches I spot plenty of Casio and run-of-the-mill Citizen and other mall/fashion watches frequently as well, lot of Fossil. But as I type this, I am commuting and someone across from me seems to have on a vintage Omega, I can only see the bracelet.
Mostly Tudor, Seiko, Sangin, G Shocks, Vaer, and Boldr.
I'm usually the oddball with the microbrands.
I am a french guy studying in Paris. I would say i mostly see Apple watches et Casio/G shock. Sometimes i also see Lip watches, a french brand vary famous in our culture
At Disney World recently I basically only saw Submariners and Datejusts... Tons of them.
I see a lot of so called smart watches, which is annoying. Once in a while I see someone wearing a decent watch though.
Bloody Apple watches arrghhhh . I live in an Aussie beach side east coast town . Mostly Apple watches and Nixon , Ripcurl plastic . Yuck ๐คฎ. Very few watch wearers in the younger crowd!
For some reason I read this as amongst coworkers/peers.
Out in public, at the store, etc. Smart watches, g shock and Casios, and Timex. Oddly a surprising amount of Rolex and Omega love, but out here in the oilfield, lots of cash floating around.
West Coast American dad here. I see kids and parents rocking gshocks at all the fairs and carnivals. Young ladies and old guys wearing smart watches. College kids sporting retro Casio's. Costco is filled with angry old boomers wearing all kinds of cool steel watches. It's fun to spot different stuff.
A trend that, unfortunately is coming back: yellow gold.
Been seeing lots of these recently, maybe I started noticing them more after I picked one up though
Yea.
A lot of smart watches for sure.
In Winter Park, near Orlando, you will see more submariners in 30 minutes than Jacques Cousteau and Sean Connery combined saw in a lifetime.
As someone who works in airport I see a lot of people from airside and production wearing casio/gshock especially the f91
Singapore here, so far Iโve mostly seen people sporting Apple Watches and few wearing Rolex. 2wks ago I saw a guy wearing a Panerai.
I live in the Seattle/Bellevue area and we are drowning in Rolex. Oh there is a shortage? Yeah it's because we bought them all. You'll see Daytona and GMT and Submariner next to Skydweler and a vintage Datejust. You can't help but see Rolex everywhere.
Or Apple. So much Apple
I live in South London UK and most of my watch spotting I do on the train to work. I see a lot of smart watches (do they really count though, I think of them more as odd shaped wrist phones) and quite a few G-Shocks. One I noticed the other day was a fella in full smart business clothes, but with a massive red G-Shock too. It looked odd in one way, but it also had this kind of "I don't give a tuppeny f**k what anyone thinks, I'm wearing my G-Shock and that's it!" kind of thing going on which I liked.
I also see a lot of 'Rolex' although a lot of them are clearly fake.
Spotted two people wearing Mission to Pluto MoonSwatches today. Generally a lot of Apple Watches or Samsung Galaxy Watches. Cartier, Rolex and Omega seem to be popular in South Korea.
