Not unbound, I live in Colombia, South America. I have a race called Imbatible and later on an ultra endurance race called TransCordilleras. It’s brutal but beautiful. Unbound is a bit too flat for my taste, but it is the biggest race so maybe someday! I’ll be doing one of the BWR next year, probably!
For that budget, get an Orient Kanno, Mako or Kamasu. Great watches if you want an automatic, and definitely a step up from the duro. Kannos often go for under 200USD.
Having said that, between those two, I’d go for the Duro. Here’s my Kanno:
I think a green gmt alpinist is just a matter of time. Hopefully it won’t be a limited edition. I’d also go for that one.
