I take two, balances the day versus the night depending on where I’m going. Both are bi-directional bezels for easy dual TZ tracking, and both feature a touch of blue.

There are two things with my FXD, neither of which concern me tremendously, but might speak to QC.

1) Bezel misalignment, off by maybe 0.5mm, enough to notice it but not enough to take action as rotating it sometimes calibrates it right. I may take this in at some point but not in any rush to lose my watch for a few months.

2) Crunchyness when winding past a certain point, where it’s not at an op per limit of being wound, but it does feel crunchy when winding almost like the mainspring barrel is dry, if that makes sense.

Shinola was the first brand that popped into my head.

Phenomenato, Nick Mankey Design Hook Strap, Bonetto Cinturini (rubber), Zuludiver, basically any Zulu, NATO, or other 22mm strap works great. The opening is 22.5 so I wouldn’t go less than 22. The OEM straps are actually really good too if you like the look, but there’s a whole world out there for 22mm single pass straps.

I feel like this watch is getting a beating, and rightfully so…

But the biggest issue is when you have a countDOWN bezel with a traditional countUP Chronograph. You can time a countdown for up to 60 seconds I guess? Silly. I get a dual purpose but then to negate any regatta timing features?!? Complete failure to launch.

And don’t even get me started with the rehaut.
