I only service my watches if they display some sign of lackluster performance or if there's a specific issue that needs to be addressed (such as a broken crown). When doing so, I always try to use the manufacturer's service and request that they don't refinish the watch especially if I'm the original owner.
I enjoy your watch reviews more than Nico; however, you could have at least selected a different color scheme for your tiers😀 my fav is the new Ti Yacht Master. I'm a bit of a Yacht Master fan having both the 40mm Rhodium and 42 White Gold, but I have a 7.7in wrist. I think the emoji day date (Autism awareness watch)is an interesting buy, future value, if you could actually get one.
Wear what you like and what you feel fits your style.
I wear a range of my collection to the office (Financial services Executive), mostly divers and sport watches. I dare anyone to give me a hard time about wearing my AP Offshore or Rolex Yacht Master 42 (rubber oysterflex strap) with a suit :)😉
These are some of the most comfortable watches I own. I do like a watch with a little heft on a flexible band, leather or otherwise (Oysterflex). I like to feel the weight of the watch itself, and not so much the bracelet, these bands do the trick for me.
