nice collection and it proves that we don't have to be riche to make a big watch collection. most of yours had good prices.
The big driver for me is #value i.e., trying to get the most watch for the least amount of money. Obviously, the #vostoks fit this bill perfectly - ย rugged divers and field watches for pennies on the dollar! But my hunting of bargains goes further - My yellow #prospex#speedtimer was via a Yahoo Japan auction for JPY30,000 as opposed to USD600, my #seiko#kingturtle - AUD399 new on sale versus USD500 pre-owned on eBay. My (almost pristine) vintage #seiko5 speedtimer 6139-8040; USD200 at auction whereas they usually go for at least USD600 these days. Even the random, hard-to-find pieces like the Seiko the Great Blue#chronograph saw some very difficult haggling with a man in the basement of a department store in Tokyo saw me get it for JPY99000 as opposed to about USD250 on eBay (my Japanese is really bad an I think the guy just felt sorry for me in the end!). In sum, there are some really good bargains out there if you are willing to look (mostly because I earn Aus dollars which are basically worthless ๐ญ)
There will always be a special place for my #scubadude, least because that was my first #vostok. Bit of an issue wearing them at the moment, but politics and watches shouldn't mix IMHO. ย ย

A scuba dude's origins would mainly be recognised by those in the watch-know. My Komandirskie was a bit more obvious even though the red star on it was subtle compared to some of the other dial variations. I say "was" because I removed the red star with some isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip. Call it a silent protest.
Nice collection!! I would call that well rounded for sure๐
Nice Scuba Dude!
That's a lotta watches.
Wow some lovely watches
Nice collection.
I liked specially this one:
Why do you need help? Looks like youโre doing just fine. ๐
With a nice assortment like that I would certainly put you in the top tier of this asylum.
Nice collection.
I liked specially this one:
My birth year Seiko 2620-5460 quartz. It is a favourite. ๐
Reminds me of a Devo song title: "Freedom Of Choice".

I have a weird fetish for #chronographs and I am such a #seiko #fanboy! Regrettably, I also jumped on the #hypetrain and bought a #swatch #omega #moonswatch... but what are you going to do?! ย ย

Yes indeedy. If I had a collection like that I would go crazy every morning deciding which to wear.
Nice collection of affordable pieces. I especially enjoy your collection of Vostok watches!
