How many watches do you own?

I’m at about 15 or 16. I’ve been collecting for a while but really only cared about automatics in the past 3 years.

I feel like my personal limit will be 30 Max. Idk why that number maybe cause that’s how many @Max said he had in a video and it stuck with me for some reason ha.

I have an overflowing watchbox of 12 right now so the logical thing to do is buy another watch box of 12 and segregate my auto collection from my quartz right? Or maybe I’m doing that as a way to justify more watches this year 😞.

I think I’ll have a third box of 3 for my 3 “attainable” goal watches - one of them being a GS, Tudor and Longines 🤓

Well see… just wanted to get a pulse check on everyone here to see how your journey is going.

I’m def not one to sell watches but if it gets overwhelming maybe I’ll donate some. Anyone know any good places for this?

I own too many of the wrong ones & not enough of the right ones.

I have 25 and wish I had 10-12, keeping 4 of my current 25

I’m at 27. I have an eclectic collection that spans many designs, price points, purposes etc. The madness doesn’t stop if you’re not careful! I’ve begun having watches sent to my parents house so the girlfriend doesn’t know I’m buying more watches!

I just got a new watch box so I got extra room now. I’m over 20 total but it’ll be closer to 30 when all said and done. 🤣😂

·

14 timepieces including a smartwatch.

·

I'm at 19 and starting to use carry cases as displays so I need another box too. I'm not to sure what the limits going to be but we'll just keep rollin and see what happens.

·

92 and counting 🙈

Or 30 X 3 + 2 😂

·

As they say "forget about it". I'm around 34 of my own personal purchases excluding family watches 25 of them. I'll try to keep it to 3-12 slot watch boxes. I've given some away to sons and friends to trim room in those boxes for future acquisitions lol.

So 13? 😂 😜

My daughter gifted me a 24 slot box. When it's full it becomes one in one out. And it's getting closer to full much faster than I anticipated.

·

14 here. 6 I wear and the others are just keepsakes or sentimental.

I have a few more, so 17 in total ... I think I've unapologetically reached my limit

·

I have 30 currently. I am awaiting the arrival of a Bel Canto & an AnOrdain watch in the new year that'll take this to 32. I am however hoping to sell 6 - 10 watches in the coming weeks until Christmas.

And I thought I had one too many. But compared to y'all, my collection of 8 is tiny... Seiko SNA 765 (my only watch for over a decade), Longines Heritage Chrono 1973 (started my collecting bug), Christopher Ward C600, G-Shock DW5600, Zodiac Grandrallye, Cartier Santos, Cartier Tank, Studio Underd0g Watermelon. Two more incoming but the wait for Rolex and AnOrdain is ridiculously long! 🤷‍♂️

·

In the neighborhood of 170....

·

8 what i wear regularly.

·

47.

·

I have five I actually claim, two that are for sale (or will be once I actually list them), and two Seikos that I hold on to for sentimental reasons but leave in the drawer

·

This question has caused me pain lol I don’t know the answer

I'm at roughly 50. I have a diverse collection IMO. That being said I need to pare it down. I'm not sure what that number will be...

·

A reasonable 3 + 1 (a G-Shock).

I had 8 at my "height" but that was 5 too many. I never had the urge or drive to switch between more than 3 at a time. That's why I'm now at 3 watches with three different movement types (Auto, Quartz, Spring Drive) and one G-Shock for bike-rides or the occasional "heavy duty work".

At 10 right now, if it didn't get wrist time in a couple months I usually flip but I haven't see a need for much more

·

My watch box holds 6, so I was at 6 for a while.. then I realized my wrist counts as storage so 7.

·

I’m at 5 and I don’t plan on going over. I bought a five watch box intentionally for that reason.

·

I'm at 7, more than enough for me
