Ready, set, go?

I'm on the verge of getting the new Moonwatch. I was concerned about the case size, given my 16.4 cm wrist, but it looks fine in my eyes. Agree?

size is subjective (that's what she said) however I think looks great on you. The L2L fits nicely and overall proportionally a good fit on your wrist

Go for it!

As a fellow small-wristed dude, it looks fine to me.

You could take a picture standing a few feet from a mirror to see how the watch on your wrist presents to others.

However, I think it will boil down to how you feel about the fit rather than what others think.

In my experience, if you feel awkward about an outfit or a piece of jewelry, it will look awkward to others because of your body language.  If having the piece on makes you feel great and you rock it with confidence, it will look good to others because people will sense that.

I have an even smaller wrist, so I wear the speedy reduced, but this looks fine on you. I tend to judge a watch - not by its size, but how it feels. I have the 41mm Sinn 104, and it feels great. Yet the 41mm Tudor Black Bay feels way too big. Stats don't always tell the whole story.

Thanks for the comments and support. I just joined Watchcrunch, but so far I'm really liking it.

My wife has an almost 15cm wrist and rocks it Like size don’t matter. It looks great on you!!!!

What a great looking timepiece! Judging from the photos, the case diameter is not oversized. For me, the leather strap offers the best visual appeal. But both are really nice.

·

Looks great brother!

·

Looks like you are wearing the speedy, not the other way around👍

·

Love it!

I think it looks great! I think the fact that the bracelet tapers so much really helps it wear very nicely as well.

·

From the top view, the size looks perfect on you! The lugs don't extend beyond the width of your wrist.

·

Pull the trigger on that one u rocking it

Based on the photos, I think that size works for you.

I tend to base my decisions on the lug-to-lug formula over at The Slender Wrist website.  With my 14.5cm wrist, that limits me to watches with 46mm lug-to-lug or smaller.  According to their formula, a 16.4cm wrist should be able to go up to 52mm lug-to-lug.  (I'm not sure how the Moonwatch measures up to that, but the photo evidence suggests that it's less than that.)

Thanks for the Slender Wrist tip. Much appreciated. (The Moonwatch is 47 mm, if I'm not mistaken.)

I think it looks great! Keep in mind the 42mm diameter number includes the asymmetric case, essentially including crown guards. The bezel is just under 40mm, and with a 47mm lug to lug I think it wears closer to a 40mm than a 42mm. I don’t have one yet, but I have tried it on several times and it is at the top of my wish list!

It looks fine on you, can always swap to a strap/nato which would fall more flush against the wrist versus a bracelet.  I find mine wears a bit smaller on straps.(Image failed to load!)
