Pulled the trigger on Moonwatch

With the support of this community, I got the new Moonwatch. I was initially worried about the 42mm size, given my relatively skinny wrist (16.4 cm), but was encouraged by the community comments here. All worries have since evaporated! I thought this post might help small-wristed enthusiasts out there. :)

Great choice! The new bracelet helps with the size as does going to a strap. A basic single-pass nylon NATO will be about as trim as it gets, but that thing is a strap monster. 😎

Congrats! It looks great!

Looks great!

WOW. Congrats mate. Killer watch.

·

Also part of the small-wrist group, never thought twice when I grab my 357050 Moonwatch

A 41 mm Tudor Black Bay looks like a absolute hockey puck on my wrist, the 42 mm Speedmaster pro just fits in just well

Congrats, this is an amazing watch. Crazy how numbers don't tell the full story with some of these watches in terms of how they wear.

Congrats! I’m in the same boat as you in that my wrist is on the smaller side and was concerned about how a 42mm watch would look on it, but recently went ahead and pulled the trigger on the speedy thanks to feedback here.

Was initially considering the 38 and the reduced, but so happy I went with the professional. Haven‘t taken it off since I got it :)

Iconic watch. Looks amazing on you 👌

Congrats on the pickup! The moonwatch will definitely be my next purchase. I had written off the speedy based off size until I tried on the new one too. Now I rock a 44mm SLA049 that also feels like a much smaller watch than it’s diameter would indicate

Thanks! Will probably be rocking the bracelet for a while but the 'strapability' of the watch is really something else - a big selling point for me.

You just described my decision-making process too! 😀

That SLA049 is a thing of beauty. I have been thinking that a Captain Willard + Moonwatch would be a nice pair in my collection.

Welcome to the Moonwatch Gang! Looks great on your wrist. Congrats and wear in good health!

·

Congrats - it's a great watch. I had a similar concern with my 17cm wrist, but it wears great.

The Speedmaster is really a lesson in that you can't judge a watch by its diameter. There are some many variables that affect how a watch wears on the wrist.

Indeed! I feel like people are increasingly talking about lug to lug as the better measure watch size. Diameter is more of a measure of the watch's style, if that makes any sense...
