Where do you get your sailcloth straps?

I'm looking for a padded sailcloth strap (20 mm, ideally with grey/white stitching). I would have bought an Artem or a Zuludiver but both are out of stock. I have a slimmer version of the Zulu, which is fine but I think a padded version would fit my Speedmaster better. I'm happy to pay a bit extra for premium quality. Thanks!

The Artem sailcloth straps are outstanding quality - I would personally wait until they were back in stock rather than settling for an inferior strap. Either that, or go for the Omega OEM "fabric" strap.

Second the artem straps suggestion.  They are of exceptional quality.

I think they're probably the closest aftermarket equivalent to the Blancpain sailcloths, which I think are the best there are.  I have spent time with the sailcloths from many other OEMs (Cartier, JLC) and they're all inferior to the Artem ones in my opinion.

I am not sure where to get a good one, but I cannot recommend Barton for sailcloth. I have had good luck with all the other Barton straps I have, but not sailcloth. Their sailcloth straps fray pretty badly.

After less than a month.

I just bought that Barton.  Where were you last week? Lol

I get straps from cheapestnatostraps in different materials. Soft ones wear faster and stiff ones last. Its just the nature of the material. A $4.00 strap you can afford to throw away and get a different color. The soft ones are hardly felt on the wrist with a 36mm watch.

Brady Sailcloth straps have served me well. Site is old but straps are decent.

Artem. Period! 😊

Same happened to mine. Black one looked bad after couple of uses but grey one is is starting to look bad after a year (not used much either).

Artem is expensive but amazing.

I know everyone is saying Artem, but if you're looking for a cheaper option, I've been happy with Watchbandits. Just make sure to get the ones with protected pin holes.

Sorry I missed that discussion, but these pics are old. I have commented on this topic a few times here on WatchCrunch. 😉

I had the same thing happen to me with a different Barton strap; the Gaucho. Someone let me know they potentially fray right after I had ordered it. 😂 I will let you know if that one has the same problem as the sailcloth.

And I will keep you in the loop too.  Thanks

Thank you all for the suggestions. I guess I'll wait for Artem to restock, at least for the time being.

Another thought.  Use a hot pick to remelt the nylon.
