In Memoriam: Gone (or going) but not forgotten...

One of my goals this year was to reduce my watch collection down to only those watches that I wear regularly.  There are, of course, some obvious sent...

Titanium G-Shocks: Peak G-Shock and/or Irrational Purchase?

To me a G-Shock was always a bit of a living fossil, a nostalgic throwback to the 80s and 90s that I grew up in — kind of clunky, a bit outdated, yet...

The Forstner OG Flat Link has the stretch links while the heftier Forstner Contemporary Flat Link does not.  Both are very comfy, with the OG being closer to the vintage OEM Speedy bracelets while the Contemporary is more like the modern OEM ones (Ed White, 50th Anniversary, ’57, etc.).

Go find that G-shock a new home if you don’t have a bond with it and let someone else enjoy it!

Purged 5 watches from my collection (now down to 4) and it’s been liberating.  I don’t feel that tinge of regret of not giving a watch enough wrist time or the burden of keeping a number of infrequently worn solar watches charged up.
