Should we expose fake crunchers?
I know of at least one person on here that pretends to be one way in the forum and then sends me extremely childish and nasty personal messages because he doesn’t want the forum to know how he really acts. Why shouldn’t this person be exposed? The messages are very rude and threatening, I mean he’s harmless so I’m not worried but why not let the rest of the crunch know? I suspect this happens to other people as well.
I personally believe a man has to be accountable for the things he says. Any person on here is welcome to publish a screenshot of any thing I’ve said. Im not worried about it because I don’t say stupid things and I’m a man so if I did I would own up to it and make it right.
Obviously this is a poll where every single person should say YES unless you are the one who sends people stupid personal messages 😂😂😂

Yes, but with a caveat. It has to show both sides of the conversation. Some people expose what others say while hiding their own instigation.
I'm not suggesting you are doing this, it's just a general comment on how these things should be done.

Normally, private messages in a forum are meant to be kept private. I strongly recommend discussing this with the mods.
Not the memberships decision to make This is for the powers that be. In the meantime just block him and you'll not see or hear from him .

I've said yes because this forum is generally good humoured and supportive. There's another forum that has quite a few mouthy muppets, I'd rather they were all corralled over there.
I say yes LOL! The better questions would be: Do we call out fake watches? I feel a bit of a dirt bag to call out replicas or fakes. At the same time I think many people here fall for the Mumbai specials on eBay and who am I to crap on their enjoyment LOL.
There have been a lot of "fake" accounts added recently. 2 of them latched onto me only the other day, and I reported them. One ("StonedApe") has already gone, the latter still remains despite using someone else's username - "IceCreamMan" - (who incidentally I already have blocked anyway), so if this turns out to be the same person, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
I only talk to Andy, Paul, and occasionally Kaysia in the private messages, oh, and Leigh too, so it's not me. LOL

My concern is you won’t do anything about it. If you really want to be helpful then let Veterans verify with admin so we wouldn’t get attacked the way the person I’m speaking of attacked me. He accused me of stolen valor and for a veteran this is a very serious accusation but then he keeps running his mouth because trust me there’s no way I’m going to tell this person my real identity. You read his comments and you wouldn’t want this guy to know who you are either.

I had a guy from Qatar here stalk my threads and make antisemitic remarks. The mods immediately dealt with it. Also as someone in tech I need to remind the world nothing you say on the internet is "private" even private messages. So just like in the physical world...if you have nothing nice to say...just shut up.
