What's your most accurate movement?

I have recently been tracking the accuracy of my collection amd have found that the majority of my collection run slow by about -10 to -17 s/day.

However, I have found that this Certina DS Podium, Powermatic 80 (25 jewels) runs at a crazy +3s/day consistently.

Can't get enough of this watch.

I was just curious as to how many people have good accuracy collections, and how good does it really get.

My Tissot Gentleman (also Powermatic 80). It hasn't lost or gained a second since Sunday evening. It's a really great movement IMO.

·

Almost all of my collection runs under 10spd on wrist (I do regulate those that need it). But the most consistent is the Omega 8800 in the Planet Ocean which runs between +1 to +2 every day. The Tudor BB58 with the MT5402 also runs around +1 on wrist, but it runs about +6 if left dial up.

Thats crazy good. I love the gentleman too. Beaut of a watch.

I must admit, I think I had been under estimating the quality of the p80 movements. I think I had read a few bad examples online and assumed it was a hit or miss movement.

St2130, from sea-gull. Currently runs at -2 per day.

I'm surprised as well, previously it's been +1 or 2s/day, but I'm away with work somewhere very cold and so I wonder whether that's knocked a second or two a day off? No idea if that could happen or not, tbh.

Thats awesome, fairplay. Sounds like a great collection.

My Seiko SSK009 with the 4R34 movement runs at a very very respectable rate, -4 per day on average

That's an unexpected one.

Thats solid, do you regulate it? @Noseyparker1972

Nope, think I’ve got the one that was looked at by Seiko quality control. Been like it out the box

My Spinnaker on the other hand is a dog. Don’t even bother checking how out it is.

I have two cosc automatics but this is my best after one month on wrist

Orient Mako is -2 on wrist, +8 face up on side.

Pagani Design 1667 came in at -1 to -1.7 on wrist, and think it was similar when left alone, but I don’t really remember.

This is from recording daily in an app, not using a timegrapher. There’s a timegrapher screenshot for them somewhere on my posts… worst case, I want to say one was -7?

Anyway. Pretty accurate.

I have two watches from Long Island Watch so two different Seiko movements and both are about -6 and I have a Seiko sub mod that runs about +2. I have one chronometer on a winder that varies about a minute between daylight savings. SO! How bout some love for the mighty Seiko NH series. Also the three Seikos have not been regulated so they could probably be better.

My Omega Globemaster is running about +2 seconds per day, which is what I expect of METAS certified movement. But, I'm amazed at my build from Ebay parts watch, which has Seiko-TMI NH35 movement. It runs at about +5-6 seconds a day, not regulated, which is totally unexpected. I've had it for about 4 months now. I wonder how long this will last before it stops working well.

For automatics: Rolex, Omega Co-Axial and Kenissi. All keep on the wrist time to 0,1 or 2 seconds on the wrist over 24 hours, resting dial up at night.

·

Had my Seamaster 300 back from service in May, I'm pretty obsessed with accuracy (why I got a METAS certified Omega) and I've only had to adjust it by a few seconds maybe half a dozen times since then.

I wear it 24/7

My most accurate watch is the Henry Archer Nordso with the Miyota 9039. It runs about +2-3 seconds per day and is consistent on out of my wrist. My Baltic Aquascaphe runs about the the same on the wrist with the same movement but loses a couple seconds a day if I’m not wearing it.

·

My most accurate is my GS 9F, currently tracking at 0 to +1s per 16 months 😅 (sorry!)

·

Most accorate are my Helm Miyako (+4) and Nodus Avalon (+2) both running on the Miyota 9015.

NH35 common or garden Seiko movement

·

Mybambino gains 30+ seconds a day

·

My Invicta 1953 loses very few seconds a day.

My worst is my 4R Seiko Turtle at -8 seconds a day 🙂

My nicer Automatics (6R35, SW200, STP 1-11.. etc) are all between 1 and 3 seconds a day 😃😘

My 3 spring drives. (5R65, 9R65, 9RA5) vary between 0.2 and 0.0 seconds per day ! 🤯🤩🥰

Mind sharing what phone app is this?

It’s called Twixt - works great. Take a pic once in a while and it auto calculates things vs atomic clock
