Hi guys, first time ever to share my watch collection in any forum! No real reason for posting though, just wanted to share to people who can relate and appreciate! Also open to suggestions, comments, questions, anything. ๐
I've always loved nice looking timepieces but I only really got started with my watch collecting journey last year when my wife encouraged me to finally splurge and get a moonwatch. Didn't expect it to turn into a back to back to back purchase since then though (wife probably regrets the encouragement earlier ๐). It's been so addicting and I know I need to stop, at least for a while! I'm quite satisfied with what I already have but would probably still try to fit in a Cartier Santos-Dumont XL and a GMT in the future. ๐

Welcome, and nice collection!
Damn sir! Great collection!! Ive been really wanting that Seamaster myself but can not get myself to bite the bullet on the higher price with no date and nl visible movementโฆ
What would you say is the watch you wear most?
Nice collection and welcome.
You have a beautiful collection! You have all your neutral colors covered. Any plans for colorful dials in the future?
Very nice collection.

I actually wear that one the most especially when it's on the OEM rubber strap which is very comfortable! I love it on the bracelet as well, just that I want to minimize the scratches which the large clasp is quite susceptible to.
Looking at all the other SMP300 versions, I really liked this the most because of the nice design, including the back! It actually took me several long visits to different shops so I could test how much I liked it ๐. Was lucky enough to get a good discount on it from the AD which helped to justify the purchase!
If not this then I would've gotten the green one, maybe you can check that out as well!

Whenever I thought of getting a colorful one my wife would ask me repeatedly if I really can pull it off ๐ Got close to a Farer Lander IV though!
All I have to say is "It's time to get a new box".
Tight collection. Welcome!
GREAT collection.
Speedmaster Professional, Aqua Terra, 300 (something). It's a start๐
Good mixture of styles and colours should cover all the bases

Great minds think alike, im thinking of the green one instead! Seen it a few times at the airport so hope to try it on a few times and get a deal there๐ค๐ผ
I think I've spotted the following:
1 G-Shock GA2100 "Casioak"
2 Tag Heuer Aquaracer
3 Tudor Black Bay 58
4 Omega Speedmaster Professional
5 Tissot (possibly a Tradition?)
6 ?
7 another Casioak
8 Seiko SPB143
9 Omega Seamaster Professional
10 Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra
11 ?
12 ?
So, how many did I guess correctly?
One year 12 watches, that is a marathon of watch collecting louies. ๐๐ป
Iโm guessing itโs a 6R35? I had mine regulated, gratis, on warranty) when I wasnโt happy with its accuracy - now my 6R35 is better than COSC.
Yup, was a bother, but I love this watch so was very worth the minor bother.
on the other end of the spectrum โฆspring drive ๐คฏ
๐ฅฐ
Yes, 6R35. That's a good outcome then! I am planning to visit the service center one of these days so hopefully I'll also be as lucky as you.
I also do want to have a GS spring drive and was looking at the White Birch just yesterday but already reached my quota this year so I have to learn to exercise self control for the next 7 months ๐ Hoping in the meantime that they will release a titanium spring drive in a design similar to Lake Suwa, then I'll be hooked.

Birch Suwa have me under a spell as well. Iโm also very partial to Ti. I also need some restraint!!!! ๐
This SLGA017 โblue glacierโ is my heavy hitter thatโs squashed my spending habits this year ๐
I dunno ?!โ I think you can do betterโฆ

If not for the high ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐ of this hobby, I would probably have had triple of these by now ๐ then again the I guess the forced pacing means more excitement for the future ๐ค
Nice! Welcome to WC. Youโve got a lot of bases covered. Might I suggest exploring micro brands. And Grand Seiko. But what ever is next, pics when you get it!
Have been looking at Baltic, Christopher Ward, and Farer, and what usually holds me back is the the lack of cosc options (not in the designs I want) or the fear of not liking it in actual vs the photos/videos. Grand seiko has always been in the list, just that they seem to be producing more and more iterations so I'm waiting for one that would make me really take the leap!
Hey there, amazing collection! I love your taste! I must say the Tag really catched my eye! Itโs drop dead gorgeous! I recently visited the AD and tried the new aqua racer 200 automatic. Yours biwever is nicer, may I ask the size and if you know the reference?

Hi KitKat, thanks I do love it too more so than any other aquaracer I've seen! It's the Solargraph in Titanium, 40mm, solar powered quartz movement. Not sure if you'll like it knowing it's not a mechanical watch but do check it out!

Yeah I would say enjoy the hunt as much as you canโฆI find it more enjoyable to find something that a bit more challenging to acquire and getting it is more of a reward ๐ปโฆ enjoy my friend and Happy Hunting in the future!!
Looks like youโve been busy, nice set upโฆ enjoy and welcome to the WC.

Hey thank you so much! I actually suspected it was the solar graph but wasnโt sure because the hands looked white in the photos. I have tried it recently and I , must say itโs my favourite.I donโt mind it being quartz but I do mind the price. 2700ยฃ is a tad too much I think. If it was 1500 to 2000ยฃ Iโd be more interested. Did you managed to get any discount by any chance?

Unfortunately not. I really like the overall look and feel though especially since it even has a quick adjust system. Citizen would be the better option in terms of value for sure, though I haven't found one with a design I like nearly as much.

Guess Iโm going to have to save up my pennies, went and tried some more similar watches but canโt seem to get the Solargraph of my mind ๐
Nice collection!! Iโve been looking at a Speedy to get next. Honestly wasnโt a fan of it looking at it online, even though I know itโs legendary. But went to a store and tried it on and it was just awesome

So SLGA019 is coming in 1 month! Sounds exactly like what I described - Titanium Lake Suwa! โจ

Actually, my watch collecting started with this speedy! Goodluck deciding if you haven't yet! I would say though that the Speedmaster '57 series also looks really good! Also just make sure you're buying one with the quick-adjust clasp, not the earlier version without!

OH wow!! somehow missed that news - It looks fantastic and in Ti it's hitting a lot of sweet spots ๐ฅฐ
