Didn't go through an AD. I noticed whenever I asked ADs, even Omega boutique store, they weren't familiar even of the part or how to order it.
Instead, I directly emailed the Swatch group service center near me, and they informed me of the part number and did the change directly.
Just bought a watch direct from a boutique store and while trying it on I noticed a link had a scratch. They replaced the link on the spot. I think if the scratch is found on the bracelet, either reject it or you can ask for a free replacement of the scratched part, if they agree.
I know how you feel... Accidentally hit a glass display case with my moonwatch and the edge of the aluminum bezel also had some slight damage. This is also my most expensive watch! I got quite sad for a while but got over it! Just embraced the damage in the end along with a few more scratches on the case. Still get sad for every scratch but the more there are the more acceptable it has become.
I did realize though that I keep longing for more scratch resistance and from now on I'll be avoiding aluminum bezels. Don't have a ceramic bezel or ceramic case watch but hoping to get one in the future!
Actually, my watch collecting started with this speedy! Goodluck deciding if you haven't yet! I would say though that the Speedmaster '57 series also looks really good! Also just make sure you're buying one with the quick-adjust clasp, not the earlier version without!
I wanted to like NATOs but it wasn't mutual 😅 For some reason the fit is always awkward and looks clunky on me! Maybe it works only for those with slim/toned wrists, which I don't have 😂
