Was your sample a bunch of folks who are crazy enough to participate in a bunch of watch forums?
I would agree with you 100% if you were talking about the general population. When the folks who voted in this poll happens to be a bunch of watch enthusiasts, I’d think the number skewing to “I don’t care.” would be higher.
If you don't mind the spring bar peaking through, you can just stick the deployant clasp on the regular band. No one sees it when it's closed.
Love the pie pan dial!
When I bought my 40mm one, I didn't really do enough research. The watch is designed to be a 38mm watch, but when they (whoever the manufacturer is because it's not Sea-Gull) created the 40mm version, they just made the dial bigger and used all the same parts including the hands. The 40mm version just looks odd if you look at it carefully compared to the beautifully designed 38mm version.
Love the vintage Omega. I think the fact that so many of these Omegas were handed down from our parents is just awesome. I got one that was my dad's wedding watch that he gave me later. I have a couple othere Omegas, but I do love the meaning behind the watches.
30mm seems small. I bought a 34mm Omega, and I've been happy with it, even if it feels small.
I've been eyeing the vintage IWC watches, but I'd say that 34mm is the smallest I'd go.
