What's your favorite Casioak mod?

I've been having way too much fun with the Casio GA-2100 series mods these days. How would you mod yours?

The whole point I got the GA2100 is for the comfort and lightness.

I like the look of the mods but not something Im very fond of doing with the Gshocks.

I tend to agree. That's why I kept one with just a NATO strap swap - gives me the feeling of "modding" without affecting the true use case of a G-Shock.

For all the other "mods", it's just for the looks. I mean, I own a diver watch although I won't ever take it into a body of water. I sure do like the look of it, though. 😉

I love how the GA-2100 made modding a bit more popular, but my hot take is that some of the colour combos and parts that have come out from shady websites of Chinese suppliers have cheapened the whole look. Some mods look great, while others are as sacrilegious as vomiting on the pope. If I had one, I'd leave it as is. An artist buys a canvas not for how it looks but for it's potential, so if one wants to go down that route, I completely understand. Not every artist is good though (see WWII) so don't get a plastic Tiffany waffle dial from China; I will cry.

They should have just let him in to the school. We might have avoided the whole war.

Aside from the history, I like keeping the original dial. I saw a YouTube video of a guy modding with weird patterns (e.g. Louis Vuitton, etc), and I thought ‘it was bad enough with a faux Royal Oak, and now you want to add a fake fashion brand?’

Then again, to each their own. 😁

I have 3 I have a Mod on one of them. It is stunning. The others are Metal but I have changed the Strap on one and the hands on the other. They are cheap enough to have fun with IMHO.

Show ‘em off, brother.

What is Watchcrunch without gratuitous showing off your mods? =)
