small crowns, long lug to lug dimensions, straight slab side profile on thicker watches (BB Pro), two tone bracelets, square cases (Monaco), integrated bracelets.
For me, it would be a turn-off if we have to call the watch 'smart' 😂. I've tried a few and I don't know when can I go along with it again. I understand smartwatches are mostly for practicality and functional watches. But having to charge every week and even daily?? If i forgot to charge them I would have to rely on my phone for time telling??

Wait, you like large crowns? Do you mean diameter or thickness? I absolutely despise some watches that have a big block the size of a pencil eraser just looking stupid and ready to bang into the back of the hand.
(I'm ok when companies, take ideas / designs and make them their own like brew with it's brewmatic from omega or CW twelve from AP ( or the designer who made the oak) as they made it different and their own.

Two tone gold watches. They just give me the vibe of something that is gifted during a retirement party.
Not gonna lie, I do feel like a dad when I wear my two tone watches. Suddenly wearing white Nike sneakers and constantly adjusting the tint settings on my tv. 😅
Hmm, though i m not a gold fan i got myself a dw 5040. But i d say a gold watch is a no go for me. If it has something special (mechanics, features ect) i m intrigued in it, sometimes pull the trigger
Only coming on a leather band, anything over 44mm, lack of micro adjust, too many model variations within the same model, anything over 14mm thick and non-tapering bracelets.
I wouldn’t say I have a specific turn off from any watch. Except invicta as a whole.
All jokes aside, massive numbers on a bezel. I might get hate for this, but the size of the numbers on a GMT Master II drive me nuts. It’s too much. They’re too big. Size does matter.
The Tudor BB GMT has the perfect size numbers for a bezel. I also can’t stand homage watches. I would rather buy the real deal than a homage. I would rather have 1 really nice $10,000 luxury watch than 100 different $100 homages.

Gold for the case is a turn off for me too. Gold indices to contrast against a dial (drak or bright) is totally fine.
Also large watches that bling with diamonds are no for me.
A watch with no hour and minute indices 👎
Gold is awesome. Well at least yellow gold. Rose gold is a revolting tinge to me. Black PVD on an analog watch case is a dealbreaker as well.
small crowns, long lug to lug dimensions, straight slab side profile on thicker watches (BB Pro), two tone bracelets, square cases (Monaco), integrated bracelets.
Gold case
Round indices
Date complications
Lack of AR coating
Hype
Two tone gold watches. They just give me the vibe of something that is gifted during a retirement party.
Gold pvd, roman numerals, diamonds
very small watches, brown color dials, cappuccino dial, a watch without indexes (and without date sometimes), bronze, diamonds
Any kind of skeleton dial. From open heart to full skeleton.

ubiquity in design causes me physical nausea.
Integrated bracelets and polymer/composite/bio - ceramic/plastic cases.

there is a time and place for gold but gold-filled should absolutely not exist. stainless steel watches are great - why cover that up?
Less than 100m water resistance
Poor timekeeping
Not having sapphire crystal
Homage, generic, fake or heavily copied watches.

Smart watches are not watches, not even smart. 😜

Copies of original designs bother me...why not come up with your own?

No jewels. Just not for me….

Over size watches that looks tacky.

Oh, and quartz. Can’t have it. Don’t know why. My brain just refuses. I need mechanical or automatic.
Integrated bracelets
Cluttered with useless functions
Ugly logos
Illegibility
Poor accuracy
Same boat as you. I am just not a good person! I also don't like bracelets.
Two-tone watches hands down
Over rated and over 💸 priced fashion watches. I seen a person who paid four hundred dollars for a fashion watch. Better him than me.
