Should I buy now or wait?

Hi Watchcrunchers

1 dec 2024 I will turn 40 years old.

And I have found my new everyday watch and its the new Seiko 5 sports lineup. Everything just checks off for me with the new watches, especially the champagne color dial.

But I can't figure out if I should buy the watch now, when it comes out in May, or if I should wait until it's my actual birthday, Dec. 1. The watch will be from myself to me because to mark my 40th birthday.

What do you think I should do?
