What does your partner wear?

This is my wife’s IWC Mark XVI Spitfire that I got for her more than 10 years ago. Its holding up pretty well considering how I always jokingly say she wears it like a G-shock. Survived a couple of drops with scratches (memories) all over. lol

She doesn't even wear a watch, so she is usually wearing this...

But seriously, she's been very supportive of my descent into madness even though she doesn't like watches. What has she got up her sleeve, I wonder?

My wife has 5 times as many watches as I do(many work) but this summer she has worn my old yellow Omega quite a bit.  When I thought all hopes of ever getting a yellow Ulysse Nardin were exhausted I settled on the Omega.  A month or two later I am wearing the UN and the Omega has migrated to her watch box.  I have to admit that the watch goes really well with many of her summer dresses.

This is my spouse’s Casio a700! I had to try it on of course.

My wife has a YachtMaster,  Datejust & can wear whatever I own. Often it's a Rose Gold Panerai Radiomir . Her favorite go to on the daily is a pink Michelle ceramic watch. Costume as it may be Michelle sent me 3 links for free when my wife busted the bracelet.  Great customer service for this little quartz toy.

The Mark XVI Spitfire is really starting to grow on me. Does the lume look rather green in daytime well lit situations?

My girlfriend wears these two, and is soon getting a Longines Spirit 37mm Champagne Dial.

Got her a Cartier Santos-Dumont like mine but hardly wears it and she wears her Apple Watch religiously …

My wife’s first watch. She’s not into the hobby at all but fell in love with this. My AD got it for me within a couple of weeks!

·

Primarily she wears a Casio F91W-1 for everyday that I gifted her after she said she liked wearing my G-Shock (I offered to get her a G-Shock but she likes the thinness of the Casio). Her going out watch is her (used to be mine) Omega Polaris

She loves it but rarely wears.   She has 2 Seiko beaters and her cheap Chinese health watch that see more wrist time.

·

She wears nearly as many as me, but her current rotation include her Islander honest cotton candy, a Tag F1 her sekonda smart watch, a small tag steel ladies watch, an Omega constellation and several that I currently can't remember

Today was the F1 Tag.

The lume is quite weak and IWC lume is more green than blue.

I bought this Tissot Le Locle "Double Happiness" for her as a push present.  She really hasn't worn anything else since then.  I've offered to buy her nicer pieces from Longines, TAG, Tudor, Bulgari, or anything else she might be interested in, and she just tells me that she hasn't found anything she likes more.

·

I was looking at one of the Spitfire Mark XVIs for myself at one point.  I ultimately went with my JLC Master Control instead.

·

Sometimes she wears a gold Casio

A lady datejust or tank is what I‘m planning for her next bday also. good choice!

·

A Tank Solo on leather or a Tank Francaise on bracelet.

I am scheming on a sports watch for her but specifics are hard.

My wife's collection.  She demands a better picture.

·

Usually the Apple watch but there is a white face Omega Seamaster on the horizon.

Divorce granted! Lol

My wife has Movado, Rolex, Wenger, Orient, etc. etc. Out of all of them her favorite is her Hope for a Cure watch. She has lost so many family and friends to Cancer she holds it dear to her heart. It is shown here on the left.

So my partner mostly wears his 2005 Rolex Air King, which I think is absolutely gorgeous. It was a college graduation gift from his dad and has an explorer style dial but in a beautiful sunburst blue.

Image

What blows my mind is when he graduated law school in 2009 his dad bought him another watch, this time it was an AP Royal Oak.  It’s kept in a safe and he never wears it. Doesn’t care for the fit.

I’m back in school with the hope that when I graduate he gets me a watch too 🤣

🍎

·

He has 10 watches in total (AP, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Panerai, Franck Muller). He mostly wears his Frank Muller (steel strap) & his Royal Oak (rubber strap) the most.

·

My wife usually wears her Air King 5500.

My wife has the Omega Constellation ref. 131.10.28.60.56.001 (28mm, Quartz, Diamond hour markers) since a few months, directly from the source in Bienne. 😉

Since ages she got also a pretty sweet Seiko Solar (being Japanese). 🤣

Wifey wears a tiny JDM Seiko women's quartz.  Wanted to get her something nicer but she feels strongly that a watch is just for telling time and looking like a nice bracelet, not in that order.

Yes, sad to hear.

·

That’s a beautiful IWC! My wife is not a watch nerd. she usually wears her Apple Watch or her dressier watch for the occasion.
