Never been a massive Ventura fan, but I actually really like the digital iteration here, but then there is the price...!
Ventura XXL Bright Dune (analogue) EUR 1,845
Ventura Edge Dune EUR 2,592
I like the colours and the way the digi is split and you press again for the seconds. But think the ana looks cheap. I think 5 or 600 would be still expensive but fair with the movie connection. Completely understand why a lot of people don’t like them🙏🏻
These watches are designed for the type of person that has a room at home filled with Dune memorabilia that loves Dune, not for people who like watches and like Dune.
Also Dune fan here (the original Herbert novel) ... I like the original Hammy Ventura for its Retro-Future (1950's) styling, but those movie-themed Venturas look like cheap props ... just go look at some of the original Star Trek "gadget" props on display at the S.T. museum in Vulcan, Alberta (Canada) and you'll see just how cheap and crappy movie props actually appear in real life ...

I like the original don’t care for this. Don’t even care how much it costs.
Is this what they're revealing on the Friday meetup at Timeworks Seattle?
Yikes, it looks like a cheap toy. Especially compared to the movie prop, it’s like a poor reproduction.
Love Dune, and I’m a fan of Hamilton but this is a big fail 👎

I like the Ventura but not the Dune.
I like them a lot, specially the digital one. Really cool but really expensive as well.

100% agree!

As watch people, we are not the target audience.

Pretty expensive but I think they're pretty cool! If I were to find $2.2k that digital would be mine.
I like it, it fits in the movie and it does look good.
And as with every watch outside my price range, I only view it as art.
Love that digital model. Yum yum gimme some.
"When you order a Dune prop from Wish" my initial reaction.
Like the regular Ventura, it's a pass from me
Pretty cool. I like the collaboration and would honestly like one of them (preferably the digital for the uniqueness factor) but they’re huge!

They probably wear a wee bit smaller. You’d be relying on the OEM for the strap though, what if you don’t find it comfortable 🤷🏻♂️
Do you say from Dune or Boon???? Bloody hell Ken!

Hi ho silver 🕺🏼

The Texas Rangers-ironically none of our American cousins will have a clue what we are on about
I think they are OK but
The colours are all wrong this barely looks like the dune watch
Why couldn't they have just released the dune watch instead of these two "inspired" models
Way too overpriced
