New Islander Northport
Just a quick look at the new Islander Northport that arrived this morning. The purple is quite dark and subtle, just as I was hoping. It wears much like the Seiko SPB143 as expected. So far I’m liking it!

Great choice! I was torn between the turquoise and the purple. I went with the turquoise, but that purple looks awesome!
That dial is the same as the Grand Seiko dial the Chinese are selling but in a different color. I got a white one with the date window at 3

That one looks great! It was my second choice, but I thought the blue might be a bit too bright for my liking.

It definitely is bright...I think you made the right choice with the purple dial. I don't mind a little brightness in my dials - I do own a fair amount of the Zodiac SSWs in all those crazy colors - this dial is definitely bright blue.
Loving the colors available and texture of this dial! Add another WANT to the list...

The sapphire bezel is good. It pretty much just looks glossy black until there’s bright lighting. It’s cool how the entire purple portion of the bezel glows in the dark.
One detail I do really like is the font on the bezel, especially the “30”.
Looking forward to getting mines I order the same variant great to see that purple is subtle and meshes well with darker portions of the dial.
Nice, it makes me think of ww2 era U-boats recharging thier batteries at night.

Guess we now know that Marc from LI found these same dials for use on the Islander Northport.
They are identical to the sterile dial from the posting.

Yes I saw OldSnafu’s post. I’d say they’re similar, but not identical in pattern or texture.

If only the Long Island Sound were remotely that blue. More like a gray-brown green.
The Seafoam version sold out so fast, would have been a great summer watch. I think these might be the best Islanders yet imo. The purple looks great too.
Man I'm so JEALOUS!!!😭😭😭 I've been wanting one of Marc's Long Island watches. Unfortunately, they look so much like a Seiko. Having the MM300 and Turtle it's hard for me to justify buying his line/brand until he comes up with a completely different design 🤔 I have a feeling if I do buy the Long Island Bayport or Northport it won't see much wrist time 😥 That's a great pickup Brotha 👊🏽
