Beautiful watch! I have an Omega bumper from 1947 that I love. Yours is such a great looking watch. I'm still on the lookout for a solid gold case watch from that era. I just haven't found one as nice as yours.

Congratulations. This is one of my all time favorite watches. Sadly, unless I find a used one at a very good (unrealistic) price, I don't think I will ever be able to buy one. Therefore, I will enjoy it vicariously through your acquisition! Enjoy.

I would ordinarily not be attracted so something with so much bling, however there is something captivating about it. I would actually consider buying one and I am really liking the model with the green stones.

I have to vote for Vaer. I have one of their watches and I think that value for dollar edges out heritage, at least for me. The breadth of their catalog, and choice of movements is also in their favor.

Wow! Great find. I think Wittnauer is a great and overlooked brand with us vintage aficionados. I'm envious.

I'm a retiree, so everyday is potentially Saturday. F'rinstance, I'm wearing this today. Vintage, and dressy! Just to go out for coffee, 'cause I can.

My Orient Kamasu is definitely my fav. They are incredibly robust and I don't hesitate to wash my hands or get gunk all over it. It has stood me in good stead for a few years now.
