Thanksgiving prep
This morning the G-Shock and I baked a couple of pies, bathed a very sad dog and are now ready to face T-day tomorrow.
The question is, do I go with the Lord Elgin Mystery Dial, or my fave, the LeCoultre when we head out to join friends for dinner. The tank has hardly left my wrist since I got it back from the watch makers, but I sorta feel like I need to give some of the other watches a little love.
What are you wearing for the festivities tomorrow? Something dressy, a bit casual, sporty or do you need to wear something that can do battle in the kitchen?
I am retired and spend my time hanging out with my boxer mix, cooking and collecting fountain pens, hats and watches. I fell down the vintage rabbit hole and now don't like wearing any watches over 36...
Wore my Speedy last night as I prepped the stuffing (with the help of a couple of furry sous chefs).
I think the real question is are those sweet pets of yours having a Thanksgiving dinner? 🥺
