I'm sure that I'm not the only one on WC who owns watches that are worn only on weekends. For me these are watches that are either too bold and striking, or conversation pieces that are not very good at telling the time.
Like my CIGADesign Z Titanium for example.
The Z large sapphire on top combined with the skeletonized movement resulted in a watch that is a bit too large for my wrist (OK, more than a bit), and very hard to read to the point of being basically useless as a wristwatch.
Which is not very important to me during the weekends because I own another Z, this time from Samsung, that is VERY good at playing the part of a pocket watch.
I'm not too proud to admit that I bought the Z because it was (a) cheap and (b) a curiosity. I never had a skeletonized watch before and the price asked by CIGADesign was reasonable enough to spent it on a whim. Which is exactly what I did.
Since it's completely useless at telling the time at a glance, or even two or three, I relegated it to the role of a weekend watch when I can just look at the little gears, admire the workmanship - which is surprisingly good, and convince myself that I can wear it without looking too ridiculous.

Do fancy a skeleton watch myself, just hard to find something legible and not prohibitively pricey. That's a cool watch, could do with better hands. 👍🏻👍🏻
I’m selling in exactly like this for $120 fullset
Great photos as always Claude👌
Since I no longer contribute to the society with labour I can wear anything. No one cares. Diver on a Tuesday and a dresswatch on Saturday. Very reveiling.
I'm a retiree, so everyday is potentially Saturday. F'rinstance, I'm wearing this today. Vintage, and dressy! Just to go out for coffee, 'cause I can.

This is a real nice looking vintage watch, well done!

Skeleton watches are a curios. It's cool to have one but they should not be used as daily watches, because they sucks in this role.
