New band for the new old watch

I bought a Spiegel "Twist-o-Flex" for my vintage 1951 Bulova. It's the type of watchband that was popular when I was a kid in the early 60's. I can hear the groans now, however it's pretty period correct and surprisingly comfortable!

This is darn close to the OEM style bracelet too IIRC.

You got a perfect match!

My grandfather loved those twist-o-flex.

If properly sized they aren't hair pullers.

No groans at all. Perfect. Reminds me vividly of playing with that band when I was a kid. Every adult wore one!

I've always liked the twist-o-flex. I even had the scissor style bands back in the day. When men were men and hair pulling was part of the metal bracelet experience. Here's my manly Romunda!

Ugh. If there is one bracelet I hate it has got to be a Speidel twist-o-flex. Those just makes my wrist clammy.

Looks good on your watches, couldn't make one work for the life of me.

Thanks for mentioning the band/brand! I've been looking for something to complement my grandfather's Bulova since the original flex strap doesn't fit my wrist.

Love the Twist-o-Flex! An effortless and satisfying wearing experience.
