The perfect duo?
"The perfect duo" is much like the concept of a "GADA", it has a different meaning for many people. For me a good duo consists of a everyday/casual watch paired with a more dressy alternative, regardless of price point. Herr are three examples of duos in my collection.

I love my Steinhart Ocean 39 GMT (the OLKO Special Edition). It goes with everything - from ranch days to office days. But...if I want to REALLY dress up, my Tissot Chrono on an alligator strap exudes class. Love 'em both.

For me from my collectionI’d want a smart everyday watch, so reasonable size that can be dressed up with a date.
And a fun sporty offering preferably with a chronograph.

Love the Explorer and the Cartier - what an iconic and beautiful pair of watches. I’ve only recently got into collecting and have less than half a dozen watches - but honestly I could be happy with just these two: Breitling Superocean Heritage II and Hamilton Khaki Field Officer’s mechanical
I consider my BB54 my „dress watch“, fully being aware it’s not one. But, its svelte case size paired with the gilt accents on the dial make it an extremely sleek and sophisticated sports watch.
A watch that dutifully suits most, somewhat more formal, occasions that call for a (somewhat) more refined watch.
My Serica 4512 is my daily wearer. Perfect size and excellent readability. It suit pretty much any occasion.
Damn. All three of those are so good.
