Since joining Watch Crunch in May I've noticed many established brands on WRUW. The likes Seiko, Citizen, Hamilton, Omega, Rolex, etc., etc.
From my perspective Christopher Ward is one that has all of the ingredients of a well-made watch. Aesthetics, quality, fit and finish are all on par with a watch that cost much more relative to pricing.
What microbrands do you own and or feel that have the best to offer?

Elliot Brown
Lorier
Nodus
Helm
Finishing, QC, my experience with customer service, same reasons as you stated for CW. For the relative price, perfectly satisfied with the product.

I'll have to check out Elliot Brown. 🤙

It's hard to argue with their Holton Pro. Just Google some of the torture tests EB has done with watches straight off the line. Up to and including hitting it with some plastic explosive. Watch still worked, not wearable maybe, but still was ticking away.
Their Beachmaster has a very unique take on the internal bezel/GMT/mission timer complication.

Like what I'm seeing with both.
CW and Scurfa. Both offering excellent value for money. The Scurfa delivers on everything it sets out to do (sturdy, good looking automatic dive watch with brilliant lume and excellent bezel); the CW wears and looks great and the crown action rivals models 10x the price.
I'm partial to formex

Solid brand for sure.
Oak and Oscar are great watches. They are tried and true tool watches with lots of added features built in. Bit more spendy but well worth the extra if they appeal to you
Baltic and Circula are very well made.
I also love formex. I also love the venturer GMT from Traska. Their hardening treatment is ridiculous. There is a lot of value in both brands
Traska
Second Hour Watches
Nezumi
Lorier
Bold'r
Tsao Baltimore
Relio
Islander
Christopher Ward definitely makes nice quality watches. I had a Traska that was very well made. Also I have a BOLDR that I really like. Check out Jack Mason. (and if you're interested in a JM Stratotimer WatchCrunch limited edition, send me a PM).
Highly recommended Elliott Brown holton Pro ,I use mine in a warehouse and before that when I was working full time as an engineer
Islander watch company does an excellent job for value and quality.
I own

Bourbon Watch Company (x3)
Jack Mason - I own one and have some I bought to give as gifts this year.

RGM
E. Stohlman Watch Co.
I have on my want list
SWC
Baltic
Monta
Tsao Baltimore
Weiss
Strict rule of $500 or less for microbrand. But, I like Islander, Momentum, Zelos and Zeppelin.
Lorier is worth a look at imo. Very beautiful and well crafted timepieces to suit a variety of different styles. This one is the Lorier Falcon Series 3.
Weiss. Hands down.
Feynman Cove is one of my absolute favourites! Well finished too.
I'm not sure all of these can be called Micro, but other brands I like include Squale, Formex, Baltic, Anordain, Ophion & Sartory Billard.
Finally P through Z...
No Xeric??
Best microbrand? Aragon. Go to aragonwatch.com and prepare to be amazed by the designs, the quality, and the prices.
No Xeric??
Thanks - not really my thing. Been tempted a couple of times.
Are you a fan? What are your favorites?

I don't have a Xeric but they're definitely their own man. They don't have one where the looks appeal to me, but sometimes I think about getting one for the sheer originality. And the prices aren't crazy either.
But here's the reason I posted the comment. Thank you for your A-Z photos, I really enjoyed them. But I figured if anyone owned a microbrand beginning with the letter X it would have to be you.

I never should have doubted.

This watch has been living in my head rent free, I keep thinking about it... I REALLY want it, but haven't pulled the trigger, as Mondaine has a new watch debuting soon, and I want to hold off. But is there anything you could tell me that may send me over the edge, into a purchase lol
It looks great on the wrist btw!
These are the microbrands I own and love:
Momentum (St. Moritz)
Farer
Lum-Tec
Boldr
Bertucci
Swiss Watch Company
Farr+Swit
Ones that I still want to get:
Nodus
Lorier
Trafford
Praesidus
Serica
Brew
Stella

Man hahaha once you get that itch it’s almost impossible to get rid of it. I will say the one thing that deters people from getting any Lorier is the plexiglass crystal. Trust me when I say it’s almost a non issue. I used to wear that watch on patrol and it can definitely take a beating. They even include polywatch so you can buff out any scratches on your own but in my time having it I’ve only used the polywatch once.
It wears really well on the wrist as also, as long as you’re good with the 36mm size everything else has been updated from the series 2 minus the clasp but that’s a non issue anyway just don’t expect anything spectacular with that.

Solid pieces that you own. Next on list just as good as awesome.
I really like Brew and Oak and Oscar
