congratulations! i’m still waiting for a call from my AD for the Rolex Explorer. i’ve decided for it to be my first Rolex coz it fits my personality. it’s timeless, stealth, and iconic. great choice! enjoy the journey.
from a practical & utlitarian perspective, Casio, especially the G-Shock line, makes all watches (including Apple Watch) obsolete. that’s why Casio is considered “God Tier” by people in the watch community. i’m planning to add a G-Shock Rangeman to my collection so i can have something to grab for the apocalypse 😅
of course marketing helps. but maybe get to know the history of Casio & G-Shock before looking at them as disposable watches. there’s a reason why therey are used by the military and are beloved by the watch community. they are the toughest & most functional watches which don’t break the bank. that’s why even watch snobs can’t ignore them and aviid watch collectors have a secret stash of G-Shocks in their collection 😅
g-shocks are not swatches. they’re only if you throw them away . 😎 https://youtu.be/I2OjmWpN_Xg?si=yp7Kfp3d2FMrl5GV
for $5,000, i’ll get a Tudor Black Bay 58 @ $4,000, a Tissot Gentleman @ $825, and the best G-Shock i can buy for $175. those three “bang for the buck” watches. should cover all the bases for me at that budget 💪⌚️🔥
