Once you jump into the watch geek rabbit hole you’ll quickly learn that Casio is the God Tier of watches, and rightly so! Casio fans come from all ages, its models span all price points, and it has heritage and iconic pop culture status that even watch snobs can’t resist it. It deserves all the respect in the watch community, especially the G-Shock line, coz those watches are made to withstand the apocalypse (short of an EMP attack) 😅
That’s why I picked up a metal G-Shock GM-2100 as the second watch in my collection. They’re called CasiOak by the watch community coz it has that AP Royal Oak vibe. This is probably the closest I could get to wearing a Royal Oak, but I love it just the same coz it’s awesome & cool AF 😅 There’s a reason why God Tier > Holy Trinity 🤣🔥

of course marketing helps. but maybe get to know the history of Casio & G-Shock before looking at them as disposable watches. there’s a reason why therey are used by the military and are beloved by the watch community. they are the toughest & most functional watches which don’t break the bank. that’s why even watch snobs can’t ignore them and aviid watch collectors have a secret stash of G-Shocks in their collection 😅
