Mine are a bit boring I'm afraid. Cartier, my first love, a love that endures to this day although certain creations of theirs are horrendous.
Omega. I love the Aqua Terra & the Seamaster 300M Diver, as well as many of their vintage models.
Christopher Ward. The brand that really kicked off my collecting. Great choice, colours, styles, value & quality. I love to see their success build & their reputation grow with each passing year.

I started my journey with Seiko and C. Ward as well 😀, C. Ward has come a long way!
Omega - my first luxury watch purchase and I love the company’s commitment to quality, accuracy, and availability. Plus I’m a 007 nerd.
Aquaterra - the GADA
Speedmaster Triple Date
SMP Quartz 007 (first big boy watch purchase)
Longines - brand history and love the retro inspired designs. Didn’t know much about the brand until 5 years ago and finally purchased my first piece this year.
Legend Diver - so underrated!
and…Christopher Ward - What’s not to like? Beautiful and quality Swiss watches at a crazy affordable price.
1) Patek Philippe for their diverse collection of complications, case designs, dial designs and model line. They really are a full line up, strong in all areas.
2) Rolex: Ultimate mass manufacture luxury. Their watches are of the highest quality and supremely reliable with classic designs. They are not haute horology but great as daily wears.
3) FP Journe: Unique and interesting horological marvels and VERY unique designs.
Corum make some of my favourite watches; I have a Bubble, I will get an Admirals Cup one day when I stop f*ck*ng about, and I have held, handled and worn a Golden Bridge. You have no idea. The Corum Concept is also brilliant. I made the mistake of taking my Bubble on a trip to HK when I saw the in-laws, and I couldn’t shop in boutiques without having to talk about it. I’m here to shop.
Piaget - old Polo, new Polo. Class and genuinely awesome respectively. Plus the ongoing battle with Bvlgari for the thinnest watches (Richard Mille aside, although that was the funniest development in the saga).
Bvlgari - oh, you have no idea how Bvlgari upped their game. They aquired Genta, then they got Daniel Roth on board, made some excellent watches that slide under the radar, and then 2007 and Iron Man comes along. Diagono, Octo, awards… I love every watch they make.
I would put Illinois or Howard above Burlington as Burlington didn’t make their own movements (your Burlington is an Illinois movement) - but do you rate them as setting the rail road standards, or for some other reason?

Ressenence, Omega and Sinn. Only problem, can’t afford any of them.
From brands I have my favourites are: Farer, Echo Neutra and Tag Heuer.
Can’t afford yet? Zenith, Omega, Breitling.
Rolex (yep I said it, 😂), JLC and Zenith. Omega and Sinn may slide in to the top 3 on any given day.
Ooooh, those pocket watches are really cool!
Oris Sinn Longines
Grand Seiko, Kurono Tokyo, A. Lange & Sohnë.=
Most underrated: Citizen
Most diverse and fun: Seiko. A bit less since Grand Seiko spun out, but there is still enough diversity.
Up and coming: Horage.
Oh my, that's a great collection indeed. 👍
Rolex
Cartier
Zenith
Or if we’re talking big fish

no, I’m not taking the piss either.

Rolex, Tudor, Norqain.
Based purely off of what I find myself drooling over on chrono24 (in no order):
A Lange & Söhne
Vacheron Constantin
Grand Seiko
And not for drooling on c24, but I just myself checking their website often: Christopher Ward
ETA: can’t afford anything though.
Casio, Orient, Seiko. But, my goal is to either get a Tissot or Longines in the future.
Vulcain (newest and last add for 2023)
Zenith
Grand Seiko
JLC Is up there but I am only ranking watches I own. Maybe in 2025.

Funny - our collections overlap a fair amount. Cheers to the new vulcains. Would like to see your review when you receive yours. Mine is coming.
Sinn, Serica and Zodiac.
Love the patterning especially on that Elgin.
